  1. Please disregard my previous recommended shop as I went there today and they have "gone somewhere else" according to the neighbours where they went will remain a great mystery of the universe...there is however another shop about 10+ shop units back towards the sea same side of the road that says they do seat upholstery but only in the late afternoon/evening I didn't want to wait that long so found somewhere else. The somewhere else being on South Pattaya road opposite soi 9 they only do recovering of the seat with a factory made cover no modification or repair of the foam and no stitching 300 baht done while you wait however the wait might be quite long. https://maps.app.goo.gl/rVm7bMbxYqKXKHtg9
  2. Win 3.1 one was quite fun to get working 555 then finding anything to do with it after it was working a whole nother fun project. Amy ,Bowie and Freddy great artists..I think Bowie has the edge due to his longer career and huge catalogue.
  3. They = The Hierarchy Enslaving You ....simple, government and above them IMF,WEF, WHO and above them ??
  4. Good these self appointed, unelected busybodies have no right to dictate to the whole world !
  5. ohh well I suppose we'll never hear a tune from you anyway..what a shame.
  6. Hello Chris (never mind the spelling/grammar police) go on give us a tune. Yes are an English progressive rock band formed in London in 1968 by lead singer Jon Anderson, bassist Chris Squire, guitarist Peter Banks, keyboardist Tony Kaye, and drummer Bill Bruford.
  7. go on give us a tune...where you in a famous band ?
  8. "Taking care of" in the Mafiosi kinda way ?
  9. As well they should ! !
  10. You where born with a silver spoon in your mouth ? Possibly, hopefully the pilot/captain cabin crew would be fully qualified to deal with and mitigate that scenario. when they are serving meals it's impossible to get anywhere anyway talking about cattle class having never been in the "front end" In any case it is best to get up and walk around on a long haul flight as often as you can.
  11. Nope back pain from hard labour to earn a crust. In any case it is best to get up and walk around on a long haul flight as often as you can.
  12. Says the guy with the (EX) crazy wife !!! 😋
  13. Maybe you are in the first class cabin ? but for me in the normal "passenger" (cattle class ) cabin siting in the seat with or without belt for more than an hour or 2 is indeed quite torturous.. getting up and walking around is recommended on long haul flights..
  14. Check what is live and not with one of those very cheap mains test screwdrivers before doing anything the colour of the wire means nothing.
  15. I'm watching Star Trek the original series and its much better than I remember it as a kid..the Spock, Kirk, Mccoy interactions are quite funny at times (special mention Scotty,Uhura and Chekov) the technologies imagined and special effects are IMHO "ahead of their time". (well they would be)
  16. Maybe better to go with a Host file...in fact a plethora of host file. ? https://www.meridianoutpost.com/resources/sys-admin-guide/block-ad-servers-with-HOSTS-file.php#list https://pgl.yoyo.org/adservers/links.php#2
  17. Aluminium is the better choice as it's much more available and lighter.. best choice for us "conspiracy theorists"
  18. Crystal ball ? What I'm saying is that "passengers" should be able to walk around during the flight not only to go to the toilet but the galley, talk to friends and for the exercise especially important on long flights...anyone who wants to sit strapped into a chair for 12 hours is free to do so.
  19. The Ukrainian elections have been called off as it is apparently "illegal" to hold them during wartime Zelenski's five year term has expired and Blinken is there singing "rocking in the free world" !!!!!
  20. No need to apologise, the article is misleading I remember reading a few months back that there was one shipwreck there but the photo in the article is not of that shipwreck.
  21. Yes this method works well too but its not so neat as a hole saw/diamond coring bit.. Global house Hardware house and many other hardware stores should have them but may require a bit of searching for....or buy from Lazada / shopee if no rush.
  22. Viagra ?? Anyway one time my Thai landlord had said I had made many holes in his walls ...yes I had installed mosquito nets and windows and power points and Ethernet trunking..when he put up the rent again I called it quits but was determined to get my 8,000 baht deposit back so I restored his premises to pristine condition removing (most) everything I had installed, filling every single hole and colour matched paining of the holes...he was quite astonished when he come for the leaving inspection and I got my full deposit back.
  23. You are of course free to sit strapped into a chair for 12 hours and risk deep vein thrombosis (DVT). If there is turbulence the captain will put the fasten safety belts sign on and everyone should comply (including take off and landing) other than that "passengers" should be free to walk about especially on very long flights.
  24. Ohh bloody blimey sir !! must be all that curry 😋
  25. Using a hole saw can be a bit of a challenge to get it started they tend skid all over the place...some come with a center drill to help with this problem but a lot don't and in that case a template can really help.. use the hole saw to cut a hole in a sacrificial thin(ish) bit of wood, tile, plastic etc and have a helper hold the template on the wall whilst starting off once it cuts about 1 mm in then no more skidding around...it also helps to spray water whilst cutting..and no hammer action with the diamond bit.
