I was almost refused boarding on a plane from Heathrow because the lettering on the outer cover of my passport had been rubbed off due to me keeping it in my pocket whist travelling around Thailand ( a few times back and forth before the lettering wore off)..I don't do that now just keep a copy of my passport photo page in my wallet/pocket instead.

Always bemused as to why/how "sex toys" are "illegal" how about a cucumber,carrot,banana or those massage wands.. while at the same time there are thousands of soapy massage places and curtain hotels all over the country I'm all for the liberalisation of porn,sex toys,sex work,massage parlours,curtain hotels,carrots,cucumbers,bananas etc etc etc and how on earth is this related except that some military equipment is rather phallic.

Ok that's "technically" true if I'm on a main road and wanting to turn into a side road on the right I do have to wait for traffic coming from "my left" (which is on the right hand side of the road) to pass/clear before making my turn to the right. At a cross road turning right I'll have to wait first for traffic on the right and then for traffic on the left. Roundabouts are so easy and efficient they tried one (twice) on Jomtien second road but it didn't last long on both occasions due to a few accidents now back to long wait for traffic lights 💩

The stop sign is woefully inadequate, no fault of its own the person/s responsible for road planning needs a good kick in the "goolies" there should be no ambiguity as to who has right of way at the junctions this road along with many others is a death trap due to bad road layout/planing/signage.

Well that explains why they can't use roundabouts and why motorcycles just dart out of a turning turning left without looking and expect everyone to avoid crashing into them ! unfortunately the laws of physics are not on the side of this silly traffic law..... well the interpretation of this law. I think it only applies at an "unmarked" cross road when you are wanting to turn right that's the only time this could make sense or else there can be no traffic flow as everyone on main roads would have to keep stopping for vehicles entering from side roads on the left. As Thailand is a left hand side of the road driving country I follow the UK rule of giving way to traffic coming from the right as the top priority but obviously mindful at all times of traffic from the left,behind,in front,to the right and occasionally ( only in Thailand) from above and below 😋

A marvellous job of messing up the road,promenade and beach once again, bravo ! soon there will be no more shade trees just like on Pattaya beach scrawny no shade palm trees nowhere to sit unless paying a beach chair vendor...bring your own chair and get chased off by angry mob park your car/truck/bike in the wrong spot (on the public road) get chased off by same angry mob.

Neither do I most all of them also sell the crappy ( some not crappy) Chinese brands too but no one wants to touch them if there is a problem or need a new battery I've had better luck on Lazada and Shopee finding spares and doing it myself for battery and screen replacement... the surface mount micro soldering is almost always beyond me though.

They couldn't fix the USB charging ports on my ACER or ASUS phones either not sure if its lack of spares,lack of knowledge,lack of thinking outside the box or just lack of Samsung (which seems the only brand they want to touch)

That looks like the railway bypass road where quite unbelievably traffic cutting across east-west have priority, there are poorly maintained stop lines on the road but as we see in the video it's a very dangerous road there needs to be much more signage highly visible as to who has priority perhaps traffic lights, I avoid this road not just because of the danger but because the road surface is really bumpy and there are often mega snarl-ups at each intersection precisely because no one gives way as no one know who has priority and often they don't care anyway....me first! the video shows the car driver had about 1.5 seconds from the motorbike becoming visible till impact so no time to even react. R.I.P to the unknown motorcyclist they really need to sort that road out.

If they really want your bike (what bike BTW) they will take it no matter what lock is on there just turn up with a pickup truck couple of thugs and angle grinder gone in 60 seconds 😋 just get a padlock and lock the front disc brake while out and about at home keep in the bedroom like the Thais do ! And perhaps consider some good insurance ?
