Hurray we've a gooner at last. The Arsenal forum is all yours mate.

You probably have quite a few on here----but we tend to be a quite,  shy, unassuming, humble people in our outlook---so you may not have noticed us.......

Especially if you dont move more than 1,000 yards from Salford in any given year----

Well your lot didn't make top four last season pal so maybe ya should keep your mouth shut until the transfer window is shut.

Wow you really do sound like Ronnie Pickering.....want a fight..a fight......fight ..  do ya know my name......wana fight....

    .

As a Gooner...I hate myself for saying this.....but Spurs have quite a good team---if they can just keep them injury free for a whole season......:post-4641-1156694572:

Ah, the old "it happens everywhere" chant.  There must be a button somewhere on these pages tbat automatically formats a reply with that & spits it out.

No, it actually doesn't.  Not without consequences as here. In developed countries the "corporate veil" isn't at all what it used to be.  But above & beyond all that, anybody who forks over money here for stuff like "lifetime memberships" best either literally have money to burn or be planning on a flying lesson off some convenient balcony soon.

A private company closes down, that's got to be Thailand's fault. Never happens in the west. The corporate veil protects us all there.

May I have what your smoking           :stoner:

I don't understand the question. If you have the means to live in either OZ or Thailand why not discuss it and live where you both want to ? What is the issue you are struggling with ? Why keep a house locked up in OZ ? Sell the damned thing and be done with it.

There isn't a question tonray,--or we could of answeredit-- it,s  just more of a story of how -Look-well I am doing everyone............

Why are you worried over the tax rates? Buyer only share half of the transfer fees. The rest to be paid by the seller...

I am sorry--I really thought I had explained it. I think the 3.5% BST  is not correct and the sale will not proceed from his point of view.

But thank you for your input

  6. Thanks for the thoughts johng, but no-- it only has a 35% farang ownership so far and the sale (as I mentioned )is from a farang to a farang

**BTW I have tried direct contact with BKK land office as no one in Rayone (will) can speak English, can not get anywhere in BKK you just hold until it drops out.

  7. PLEEEEEASE--I didn't want to start a thread, as it seems to wander off on why no one should buy in Thailand, so can we just pass up on that point.

I am thinking off buying a condo near Rayon-- the person who owns it (farang--lived in it for over 6 years) his condo management are telling him that the tax to sell is.

    2% transfer Fee

    0.5% stamp duty

    + 3.3 % SBT  Specific Business Tax

From what I have read the SBT should not apply as its a private sale, maybe this has changed in near past----I am reading from a site about condo fees, but maybe its out dated----Could you advise if you have purchased a condo lately. I have rang various real estates --but mixed replies.

  8. Rob I take it you are talking about Essan, you do not have to have it in her village, there are many nice towns & areas in Essan to build away from the family. Its not so much that the family will move in if you part, more that they will always be around and have little money. It will be a constant thing that you will argue with your partner about-pick an area away from the family.

  9. Has anyone installed one over the top of a normal staircase.

My wife was given 3 two storey new townhouse right in the middle of Udon Thani city---(long story involved with that one---re sisters etc)

I was just going to fire sale them off at 1 mil each---as they only are one bedroom---2 stories high but 1 bedroom, If they held a competition for how you could waste as much space as possible---- this builder would have taken the gold .

The staircase (which he decided to make about nearly meters wide) comes up in the middle of the top floor---then you have this space, before you walk into the 1 large bed room. Looking at the idea of creating more space upstairs---not being Dr Who--I am thinking of narrowing and making steeper the staircase by installing a stringer over the top of it.....so adding to the upper floor space. Anyone had this installed. I know in Oz its just done all the time.

  10. Yes I think you are spot on OXO, the Thai-haters conspiracy stuff is getting more stupid by the day. Of course there are some things wrong with this country, but they minimise them with really quite childish posts like, yes the government nipped into the UN and changed the questions around, and of course the Thai people not being as cleaver as us farangs didn't realise. Gosh what would they do without us here pointing these things out to them.

Prayut said the other day Thai language was going to become the #1 language in the world so why were these Thai's playing scrabble in English ?

When did he say that ??

Where did he day that ??

Do you have a link---love to see it and know its not just another one of your fantasy post's.

Yes I tried to Google it--its reporting that only one person is quoting that--"You" congrats.

  12. I have the Honda Accord with the same set up---they just update the GPS system by placing a special CD into the player (& pressing few other buttons) . None of those systems are as good as an Apple or Google system which is updated all the time, for free.

I think the answer to his problem is called----RTMS

Personally I put flight comfort and cost way above flight duration and long stopovers.

Yes its addictive, I started doing it on the London flights--telling myself its SOoooo Long I deserve it--& as I get older I start to view it on the shorter hauls also, Yes no competition on the BKK-Bris route, the one plane is always packed, Bris-BKK is a little better as you have those airlines you mentioned stopping after Sydney, ---OK so it's Krug champagne & a free pair of pajamas then.........:coffee1:

  14. Come on guys 4 children to feed clothe etc...What do you suppose the Millions of solo mothers in your country would do if the "Rent relief--Welfare relief--Food stamps relief...etc etc was turned off tomorrow. It seems that every crime committed here is a reflection on the Whole of Thai Society. If we turned that around--how would your country fare with some of the senseless crimes committed.
