Government Confirms Songkran Celebrations to Proceed Next Month
tonray replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I'm praying that Malayasia offers a special 'Songkran Visa" to help us get away from this nonsensical rubbish holiday. -
I am not concerned because I have every expectation the Russian "mafia" and wealthy ellite here in Thailand will offer compassionate help to their compatriots . (likely at around 20% rate on loans and snapping up condos at bargain fire sale pricing)...after alll somebody needs to pay for those new yachts to replace the ones seized by sanction.

I explain this to GF almost daily. Hot day outside with sun hitting west wall, can set at 30 and will kick compressor on. Cool day or later in the evening must lower to 27 for cooling to take effect.
-
It's puzzling because surely the Daikin techs have thermometers to gauge whether it is at proper cooling temperatures ? How could they miss that ?

Ok...simple query...how much did 'your' opener add to the cost of 'your' gate ?
-
I general, how much does an automatic (electric) system add to the cost of a gate system ?
-
yeah...that is a very good point...not to mention GF whining for years about why we didn't get automatic gate...even more perilous...ha ha ha
-
Great thread...also in the market for replacement gate....still deciding whether I want to go manual or electric, usually not in/out more than once a day anyway.

When I first came to Thailand I taught in a school in Bang Kapi near Saphan Sung. Once you got off the airport link there were two ways to get across the highway...use the pedestrian bridge and grab a moto on the other side to school -or- grab a moto taxi on the ARL side where the driver would navigate narrow dirt paths along a network of small khlongs (one way only and someone had to stop and get off to the side if a bike was coming in the opposite direction). Only did that a couple of times when I was very late for work...harrowing

Had both in screen and back/side scanners....never a problem with any but prefer the side on/off button scanner just because more ergonomic to use.

What do you mean by incomplete TM30? Never done ? -
The Lazada app in Malaysia and Philippines is mostly English, the fact is Lazada Thailand has the vast majority of customers whose primary language is Thai, we may think we are important enough to get everything in English but expats are but a tiny slice of the biz here.

20 foreign nationals arrested in Phnom Penh brothel bust
tonray replied to geovalin's topic in Cambodia News
Very similar in Malaysia, the 'Chinese' brothels all look like this or are so called Karaoke lounges -
I would go broke just on the 350 baht SomTam...
