So we must say YES to Income from working in Thailand otherwise transfers are not allowed and to avoid being pestered further for a WP what transfer objectives are allowed? I am trying to transfer to an overseas investing account, but that option is not shown on the menu? What do you recommend to allow multiple trouble free transfers for someone on a retirement extension?

I have never done a transfer OUT of Thailand in my life, but it looks easy on the KBank web site and seems to cost 250THB to send any USD equivalent amounts - I am trying to send to the US. The online process specifically asks to check a box stating "Income earned from working in Thailand" and if I don't check that it will not process the wire. So I simply check it and it looks like the wire will go, but I haven't tried yet. Question: Why do they ask I check this box, is it just to show the receiver all taxes are paid? I don't really know where the money came from - its been collecting over the years in my account from all over the world including working in Thailand at times years ago? Do people simply check "Income earned from working in Thailand" to enable these transfers to go even if they never worked in Thailand?

On my Android I go to settings, display, text size and change it. Affects all apps inc Google Maps and Thai text on roads.

Why is that a problem? I understood if its pending its in the immigration queue - out of our control? I thought I read on here somewhere CW is taking weeks to process these at the moment, so their problem not ours?

Tried it on another PC with Linux and fresh install of Firefox, same problem on X - no explanatory text about the tweets, photos only. On Android devices, the Tweets look OK (as in your posts above).

Is this perhaps a Skype related problem only or do you get bad microphone on other apps also? For me I cannot figure out how to get Skype mic sound to work on a laptop these days whereas all my other sound apps work fine. I resorted to making Skype calls from an Android phone instead!

Well I am confused if it is just me. I tried it on multiple browsers on my PC, went to another PC with a clean install of Win11 and made a new X account, and still cannot get the text as you have using Edge browser. All my other received tweets from other accounts look normal. Very strange.

Whats gone wrong with the Asean Now tweets? In the past the tweet would at least include a semblance of what the subject was about before we clicked on a link if it interested us. In the two examples below from today (and they are all like this now), there is no clue of subject content at all on the link. The second tweet is just a photo only with no information at all. Why would anyone want to subscribe to that on X?

I notice the Schwab web site allows non US citizens, living overseas to open an account such as with a Thailand address. Has anyone got any experience of this from Thailand and found it worthwhile or something to avoid? Thanks for any feedback specifically from those who haven't got accounts in the US.

Works fine here with Win11, qBittorrent and any browser (FF,Edge etc) to get the magnet links, make sure you have latest versions installed, and re-install them if needed.
