  1. I suppose Russia bombing Syrians who oppose Assad's dictatorship is therefore "gentle nurturing", is it?

Well, Assad is still a legal president,

    Only US thinks otherwise.

The so called rebels are mercenaries who are paid.

Regular folks are demanding social benefits in EU

So yeah, Russian presence is legal, while US presence is totally illegal no matter how you look at it

He's never been a legal president. He inherited the job from his equally genocidal father.

Similar election tactics to North Korea.

Again from American point of view

  2. Anyone following or interested, turn on Aljazeera, as i thought earlier, it is now considered by some analysts and statements by Russian FM as US trying to start proxy war with Russia

    What a pathetic mind set...

    Destruction is the only vision

Do not shoot the messenger, these are the thoughts and statements by analysts.

Someone from US, was claiming special forces were always on the ground so this is nothing new, in which case that would mean Obama lied to American people and the rest of the world.

The same US person was claiming that special forces are there to coordinate with rebel forces for US low flying jets to carry out strikes against ISIS.

Best let you watch it, i am sure there will be a re run

  3. Not exactly hell .......

Total overreaction on your part based on your inexperience.

You want special stuff done, you get an agreement in writing, then don't pay or move in until it's done.

Nobody made you hand the table over to a random woman with a key.

What part is an overreaction? The fact that I do not feel comfortable when groups of people are entering my room while I'm sleeping or the fact that I think I should get my deposit refunded when my lease states that I should? Or you also think it's okay for furniture to be removed from a place you've rented after you're already living there?

I understand I should have got the washer/dryer, table replacement, room cleaning, in writing. It is my mistake to trust someone... But like I said, I have rented lots of places before and never imagined that I would be blatantly lied to. I'm a nice guy... so yes it's stupid for me to think that people will placy nice back in return.

For me, not being able to shower, wash my clothes, and have people entering without permission is my idea of "hell"... And even if it's not hell it's reason enough that that I felt I had no choice to leave, even if only for the fact that other people have access to the room. I mean... cmon the owner says she didn't know I lived there and I had been there a week already? I was there with the agent when she was talking to the owner on the phone. But it's unclear who the owner even is since I am refused all details!

Mate, what you have to understand is that you have no evidence to prove any of this? Do you understand?

Did you make video of people in your room?

Did you make video of them removing things from condo?

Wise, would have been to have a meeting, and amend things that were removed from the condo, and later you could have used that as evidence.

I understand your frustration and anger, but sadly you really are out of luck, as i mentioned in my other post.

Without any evidence, its your word against hers or whoever and it means you get nothing.

  4. Totally agree with MaeJom

You also state ghetto washing machine ONLY cold water,

Thailand does not have hot water machines, because water heating is done by the heater not a central system.

May be exists somewhere i am yet to see it after 15 years.

Washer/dryer cost a fortune, really not sure why you believed they would give you new one and reduce the rent.

As you have nothing in writing, and have no evidence to support any of your claims or experience, i am sorry to say your money is gone.

They could get even more nasty if they wanted too and claim you stole the table and whatever else they can think of.

Sorry but not much you can do and i doubt anyone can help, mainly because no evidence at all

  5. Anyone following or interested, turn on Aljazeera, as i thought earlier, it is now considered by some analysts and statements by Russian FM as US trying to start proxy war with Russia

Well, with 50 ground forces on the ground, that should be a short war.

Its not about the numbers, its about an act itself.

Putting aside that official number may well be far from the actual numbersthumbsup.gif

  7. But before doing that, consider the possible consequences for these dogs if their owners have to get rid of them.

The question is why do they howl all night? Well cared for dogs will not do this unless there is an intruder or other reason to raise an alarm.

Some whining expats love to exaggerate things, the reality is far from it.

In my moobaan, when i first moved in there were robberies on daily basis.

Since my gang of 6 moved in, there has not been a single robbery or a break in.

On the opposite side, robberies are a nightly occurrence.

My dogs know all the people who live there and ONLY go nuts when someone who they do not know approaches the house or walks past.

This most certainly wakes up the neighbors, but then who would be wondering around in dead end street in close gated housing?

One neighbor decided to complain and was abused by all others, stating if it was not for my dogs, they would be robbed daily.

I always keep mine inside the house, but all neighbors insists i put them outside at night, as it really gives them peace of mind.

PS. I am certain dogs do not howl all night long, but might let out a few howls here the there.

I agree but only up to point. What would you do if one or more of your dogs consistently attacked and sank their teeth into passers-by?

Last year I moved to a rental in a resort having one owner. On this plot is a policeman who has no less than 14 dogs which roam all day and night. Three of these dogs will attack and bite without provocation including neighbours that have lived there for years. In the last couple of months a small boy, two girls and the owner's sister living on an adjoining have all been bitten, the boy seriously. I'm told that nothing can be done because the dogs belong to a policeman.

I have had many pets in the past including cats and dogs, birds etc. but in my view there is only one place for dogs anywhere that have a taste for human blood.

What usually happens to dogs like that here, is they are thrown some meat well dosed with Rat poison, Policeman's dogs or not, by Thais, not falangs, if they carry on biting Thais, it will happen...

Nothing but yet another farang created fear mongering myth,

Sure it may happen, but nowhere near as often as some people like to make out.

I have a few nasty dogs living in the soi, and nothing has happened to them for past 6-7 years

Just like all myth its baseless, because Thai would not do it to another thai in fear of retaliation.

However they would rip someone apart if somone tried to enter the house.

Those who live here are no problem and being dead end street there is absolutely no reason to be passing by in the middle of the night ;)

  9. I find it amazing that dog lovers are able to excuse so much bad behavior by their animals. I am amazed that they do not train their animals to be more considerate of those of us who do not want the abuse.

Same could be said about alcoholic expats who do not seem to be able to control themselves not only to cause nuisance and embarrassments but show little consideration for others.

If you wanted to live in nanny state, then you should NOT have moved to SE Asia.

With benefits of young girls, there are many unpleasantry's that come along as well, thumbsup.gif

I care for my dogs very well, yet they howl at night calling for a female in heat. They also group howl for some reason beyond my hearing capability, and then suddenly stop, all together, same instant, like flipping a light switch.

The only reason i can see them howling for a female is because they are not desexed and there is a female in heat nearby.

Desexing them or bar fining a girl would fix the problemgiggle.gifthumbsup.gif

  12. Sooner or later, maybe when it's too late.

Right now, they make war in the Middle East and leave Europe alone with the war refugees. Germany might become a big detention camp where they sort out "terrorists", all under surveillance from the USA.

I hope that i am wrong, but i feel US after long being rather silent, has decided to add fuel to the fire.

Russia is in Syria already with Syrian invitation and makes no secret bombing ISIL as well as rebels.

US putting boots to "protect" rebels may be a way to spark a conflict with Russia which US has been trying to do so hard even from Ukraine days.

Not to mention, should Russia succeed, lots of dirt may come out who created what and supported who

  13. "What has happened to make America realize, after five years, that it should send between 30 and 50 military advisers?" asked Shehadeh,

Many Americans are wondering the same thing...what is the "real" motivation here...especially after Obama went before the American people and said that there was no way he would send in American troops...

Oh, well, just another feather in the cap of the Obama legacy...

You know the irony is Obama won Nobel Peace Prize

  14. I had one in Bangkok Hospital Bangkok,

Will not comment on doctors, just give you some advice about surgery itself

Firstly, i strongly recommend you tell surgeon you like to have novocane injection into the nerve.(not instead of general but on top of it, injection goes just in the front, neck area. I was scared and asked to do it when i was asleep,)

This numbs your nerves and no pain for 3 days after the surgery, also no need for morphine, next morning you can eat and function as normal,

    2. Remind surgeon to make sure he cleans all the debris, its common sense, yet mine forgotten, i lost 40% movement,

    3. Make sure to start physio and even if you have high pain tolerance as i do, tell them hurt and fake it, because they do not seem to understand, just because you not screaming, it does not mean they can stretch your arm limitless in the first days.

    4. Recovery does take a long time, despite what docs will tell you, 6-12 months

    5. Not sure if its only me or common, but now 8 years later, i feel the pain during rainy seasons and cold weather.

    6. You may need cordizone shots on yearly basis for the rest of your life.

Little humor: Do not pick surgeon who has sexy nurses, its a ploy to get you in, you wake up in ward with heavy, well seasoned nurses and never see the sexy onesgiggle.gif

  15. If you can keep it, do not worry about the dogs.

Initially buy a strong cage and keep kitten in there in the room where dogs can smell it and see it.

After few days, dogs will ignore it and accept it as one of the family.

I have 6 dogs and 11 cats, all get along well, all kittens were introduced this way and worked well.

2 dogs accepted each kitten as their baby, and looked after it.

  16. Personally i admire his intentions, what he is failing to understand that change has to start from the start.

How can Thai start saving when its such a materialistic society?

Everything is about showing off, what you have and how much of it.

A lot of local i have met, never ever had a bank account, in rural areas they donot even know how to use an ATM.

Many of them do not know how to use post office.

Must go back to the start, ie education, values and morals.

Retraining an old dog is almost impossible as he is set in his ways

  17. For every US soldier sent to Syria there will be at least one Syrian refugee heading towards Europe. At least.

U.S.A. might as well send troops to Europe directly.

Wait for a year or so, once they settle in and learn how easy and lax Western laws are, they would be doing everything and anything illegal.

After all in EU, they will not cut off your hand for stealing, but rather a slap and off you go.

Not to mention nice comfy jails

  18. It's quite a longtime since they were available. My wife has one and will be able to retain it even if it needs replacing for some reason eg looses it down the drain. So the answer is .... if you don't have one now you never will.

Does not really answer my question.

It use to be available, i believe i read not anymore, however driving school says available and can be obtained for a fee.

So question still remains, available or not?

Not. And I agree that it is probably illegal and under the table operation.

"The director-general emphasized that no third party can apply on a driver’s behalf and confirmed that life-time licenses are no longer being issued."

    http://pattayatoday.net/news/latest-edition/update-on-thai-driving-license/

I am certain its under the table, but if its no longer being issued as i suspected and now confirmed, then license would not be real or would is till be real?

This what where i am really confused.
