Out here in the sticks , the water bill is read , the units calculated by the lady who is reading the meter , then she gets the calculator out and multiply's it by the rate and physically writes all the info. onto a bill, tears it out of the book and hands it to the wife.

My thoughts exactly , but I would rather have a full back/wing back who can defend , we have wingers and midfielders for the attacking.

What do you think about the McTominay and Wan-Bissaka transfer talk. Personally I would keep them both , I thought McTominay did his job very well in the Cup final , and I also like him playing a bit farther forward when needs must. I also think Wan Bissake is a better defender than Dalot.

After watching the pre season tour , I think Amad will be a better choice on the the right to either Sancho or Antony. He is more direct and likes to take defenders on. I think with Garnacho on the other wing they have their places sewn up. I think Rashford might struggle to get into the starting XI once everybody is up and running . Hannibal does not appear to have made the step up I hoped he would . Collyer I think will fit into the midfield nicely.

I too applied 2 months before my retirement age. 4 months later I called them and asked what the situation was , as the mail from the UK to Thailand takes a couple of months ( that''s if it gets here ) They looked at my application , and told me that the bloke who filled it in did not submit it to the relevant dept. So I had to do it again. They said they would expedite the claim considering it was their cock up. ( 2 to 3 weeks ) I called them again after another month of nothing happening , they apologised and said they would try and expedite the claim ( again ) At the moment , I am 6 months into my claim and still nothing.

Just tried watching the Super Pole 16:00hrs But the only channel I could find it on using Prime , was SPO TV 2. But all it showed was a Test Card. Anybody know any other channels that will show the race in a couple of hours time ?

I too was a heavy drinker in my younger days , Bacardi or Lager , then Gin and Tonic as I got older , the last daily drink I had was Brandy before bedtime. Now , I barely touch any alcohol , the drinking sessions have long gone. I enjoyed it at the time , but like the OP states , the older you get the less inclined you get.

I see new roads or widening of roads like this are made using concrete now. Near us there is the turning of single lane roads to two lane roads and Tarmac is not to be see anywhere. Is this a cost efficient strategy or just somebody high up who owns a cement plant ? I prefer the Tarmac over the concrete as it usually gives s smoother ride .

I get sick of the premier league commentators using the words " perfect start " if a team gets a quick goal. "World Class" save for a goal bound shot or header that the keeper should save every day of the week. " World Class " player because he passes a ball 20 yards. A player that dives to get a Penalty or Free Kick ( and they all do it ) being called " Clever ". With these knob heads and Women commentating , I just have to turn the sound off.

If the cops aren't bothered , then maybe no law was broken ( might be a civil thing ) if that is the case why did immigration turn up and why are they going to deport him ? There was no mention of him overstaying or breaking immigration laws .
