Did anybody watch the Football last night , I give up in the end , even on 480 res it was all stop and start , more stop than start. I hope the new Premier League broadcasters keep their promise for next season .

Could be the answer for next year. an official football channel for 400 baht a month! Jasmine International recently filed a letter with the Stock Exchange of Thailand to report the company received a written notice from Football Association Premier League Ltd on Nov 22 confirming it was granted the exclusive right to broadcast live audio and visual coverage of EPL and FA Cup football matches for a period of six seasons. The total value of the licence is around US$560 million, or around 19.2 billion baht. The licence covers Thailand, Cambodia and Laos starting from the 2025/26 season, which commences on Aug 16, 2025. Soraj Asavaprapha, acting chief executive of Jasmine, said the football would primarily be available via the Monomax streaming channel. The monthly subscription fee would not exceed 400 baht, allowing viewers to watch EPL and FA Cup matches, as well as have unlimited access to international movies and series, he said.

Lat Saturday there were a lot of the Premier Football HD 2 channels missing , I just put that down to the bad storms in England. Had to search for other channels to try and watch a football match. Let's hope they return.

Pleased to see Wan Bissaka scoring and playing well for West Ham , big mistake keeping Dalot instead of him.

Thai Bank Account - 800k deposit
NE1 replied to qwab32's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
That is standard 3 is new for Ratchaburi... It's common for some immigration offices to require a TM30 Never had to sign my wife's ID card copy before or her House book copies. Always had a TM 30 , for some reason they wanted a new one. It looks like all the offices will be as one in their requirements soon. Anyway sorted for another year , already opened a new account with SCB on the 7th. so next years extension will go more smoothly (I hope ) -
Thai Bank Account - 800k deposit

Update , got my bank statement from Bkk bank this morning , got a new bank letter and off to the Immi. office. 2 officers and 2 yellow shirted aids with nothing to do but check my documents , one officer asked why I had a bank statement when I already had the bank book pages copied signed and stamped ? He could not understand that my account had never ever gone below 800,000 baht in 12 years , yet they wouldn't accept it. He was told by another officer that that was the requirement now . He shrugged his shoulders and walked off. So now they wanted an account transaction for today. So back into Ratchaburi , made a deposit got the book updated and back to the Immi. office. I was given 3 more docs to sign, 1st) STM 2 which I had already submitted , but the doc. has been changed to include a second signature done in the presence of an Immi. officer. 2nd) Acknowledge of Penalties for Visa overstay , which I had already submitted , but the doc. has also been changed to include a second signature done in the presence of an Immi. officer. 3rd) Acknowledgment of conditions for a retired person to stay Temporary in the Kingdom of Thailand. Plus I had to sign my wife's documents she submitted for a new TM 30 , I haven't moved or been out of the country , but they still insisted on her doing a new one. Then for some reason or another , every piece of paper I submitted was photographed. I will be interested to hear from anybody else who uses Ratchaburi Immigration in the near future , see if it slackens off any. -
So Ruud is surplus to requirements , I hope he got a good pay out and lands a decent job elsewhere. I thought he would have been ideal to help young forwards at United.

What is the purpose of that , if they have already allowed your extension , what purpose does the overstay stamp serve. Or is it just " something that they do for no reason "? -

What sort of time limit are you allowed between the last day of your statement and the day you do your extension. Is 7 days acceptable ? -

I did apply a little bit earlier , so I will only be 2 or 3 days past my expiry date , which they said if I was willing to pay a 500 baht a day fine , they will accept it....Rather decent of him wasn't it , barsteward. -

I argued that , told them if they were going to change something that has been acceptable for the last umpteen years , they should give us a bit of notice.....Talking to a brick wall.
