I tried it numerous times for the exact same searches BEFORE suggesting it, and it worked every single time without fail. Without US VPN...Thai date. Switch on US VPN...western date. Anyhoo, glad u got sorted out.

Setting VPN to a US server works, tho maybe not the solution you're wanting.
