  1. Was hoping they would go thru with this greedy, money grab madness. ALL for anything and everything this place concocts to shoot itself in the foot.
  2. Don't we know it❗ Tried logic and reason on those woo-sters for years before finally throwing in the towel. The mystics were the worst by far and that's no small accomplishment. 555 ????
  3. Complete and utter hogwash. You do not know any of this. Prove it's your god. Prove it's any god. You are fooling yourself with BS. You know NOTHING of an afterlife, so much as eternal life. You're lying to yourself and us, pretending your scaredy-cat security blankie is real. Maybe, by the most infinitesimal chance, it is real...but we don't know and you certainly don't either. Chill out, relax, take a deep breath, THINK...and have a drink❗????????????????
  4. Mark Twain said it best: “I do not fear death. I had been dead for billions and billions of years before I was born, and had not suffered the slightest inconvenience from it.”
  5. I know the law and what a TM-30 is and what it's needed for. I'm not in any way disputing what the law says, but rather the claim that any cheap guesthouse can and will do a TM30. This is simply not the case...at least not in my limited experience of nearly 30 years here. Many laws and stipulations in Thailand, of which many Thais are unaware or don't care. Even if aware...quite a few are ignored, disregarded, ill-enforced or not at all.
  6. Many small hotels/guesthouses don't do them. Staff haven't even a clue to what is being referred❗"DM...alai-wah"❓????
  7. Just tried this one B132. 6.5% alc. It's good but not that good...tho does come in a lovely can! But still like the B99 same brand green can Pale Ale better.
  8. I don't, but assume the snake handlers do. If unsure...wear goggles.
  9. Well that sux. Glad he's seemingly going to be OK. Perhaps Cobra Goggles when dealing with spitters.
  10. Not that it does you any good, but readily available in Chiang Mai too. Served in many Beer Bars at around B100-120/sm bottle.
  11. Anyone who buys Thai beer in other countries do so only because they are stuck in Farangland and it brings back fond memories of all the fun, debauchery and great times had here. NOT cuz it's good❗????
  12. This Extra Stout from Cambo 8% is excellent. But sadly not available here that I know. Friend brought back a couple for lucky me. It's ok, but I and my buddy who turned me on to it, prefer the lower alc green can Pale Ale. More flavorful. Yep. Here it's an import.
  13. FNC...FAUX News Channel. Jesse Waters is it? Another lying, hypocritical whackjob on par with Yucker Carlson. Wouldn't know truth if hit him in his smug, lying puss. 555
  14. My fridge is kept well stocked but never with The Big 3 swills...Singha, Leo or Chang. ???? Some Thai craft beers I enjoy + Beer Lao Dark & the IPA (when I can find it) and the regular Lager occasionally are all far superior to those almost undrinkable Thai Big 3.
  15. If his bank account was "frozen", it was not due to immigration's funds-in-the-bank policy. The money is yours to do with what you please...however, dropping below during those 5 months (2 months prior and 3 after) will be found out at your next annual extension and possibly/probably not granted the extension.
  16. This clown is the biggest "tool" in the shed. Psycho toxic narcissist and sociopath. That this lunatic, loser, liar, cheater, thief was POTUS is an disgraceful and embarrassing ????-stain on American history.
  17. Went into Bangkok Bank near Jomtien Immigration yesterday to do this very thing. The security guy handed me a queue ticket. There were about 15 people before me and the numbers were not advancing. 3 people had enough and departed. I walked outside to the guy and told him I just needed a photo taken. OH go upstairs, he said. Was upstairs and finished in 15 minutes. Needed PP and bank book. Be sure to state your purpose for being there, otherwise will waste your time waiting for number to be called (which was looking like an hour minimum), THEN you will be directed upstairs. Had I not mentioned it, would have been there a totally unnecessary extended period instead of in and out in 20 minutes.
  18. With immigration, nothing surprises...but causing confusion is certainly their forte. Sudden and random changes, differing from province to province and even at the whim of individual officers. Nitpicky shifting of goalposts. Wouldn't surprise me if some do it just for "fun" and/or spite. My 90 day is due 1 June. Annual extension also next month, which is always done with trepidation, regardless how many times previously. Haha
  19. Me too, but walked past a couple months back and was surprised to see it open.
