To intervene with a drunk Thai is putting your well being (and your life) in grave danger. And not just for that moment. Thais are unreasonable even when sober. They are also vengeful and have LONG memories and the guys loathe us. Let's assume you had been successful kicking his ass and stopping him. You would then be faced with looking over your shoulder for your remaining days, months and years in Thailand. It's simply not worth it.

The artist is Sompop Budtarad and the painting..."Nang Songkran". It was hastily taken down in 2011 after the typical hypocrisy of their ways were exposed online. In Jomtien, I submit mine online early the day before it's due and always get confirmation back same day...usually within 3 hours. Am always prepared to do a walk-in if something goes awry. It's all of a 5 minute walk away. ????
