  1. Yeah love S FLA and The Keys. Best friend lives on Ramrod Key...near Big Pine.
  2. 555...33 years vegan and closing in on 30 years in Thailand. Also grew up in Florida. Was definitely an outlier among family and friends at meal time, as they all loved sealife and I never touched it. To each their own. Fresh or not...it always smells foul to me. NO exceptions.
  3. I agree. Look away, walk away. Pretend you're unaware. No good deed goes unpunished. People generally SUCK.
  4. Never ate sealife ever. Lovely creatures living, but smell abhorrent dead...cooked or not. Total gagfest whenever anyone or any place cooks it. Airlines should ban it as the stink is unbearable. ????
  5. From where does this info "appear"❓ Nowhere that I've read or seen...and earlier today I searched extensively. The rule is first violation is a 2 stroke penalty, then an ensuing violation results in DQ. Nowhere could I find that they were warned and assessed the 2-stroke penalty prior to the DQ. If privy to such pertinent info, would be much appreciated if you could provide it. Rather, it seems officials were made aware of multiple violations and she was DQ'd. The following is excerpted from Golf Monthly... Vongtaveelap was even par through five holes but was not allowed to continue after USGA officials found that her caddie, Jinsup Kim, had used a rangefinder on multiple occasions.
  6. Trump and his imbecile cult followers are "fake-triots". They stand for and support most things UN-American.
  7. Currently ONLY distance is permitted. Any other info other than distance is a breach of the rules. The golfers are only allowed to use the laser rangefinders to measure the distance. They are not permitted to use the equipment to calculate the true distance when playing on the slope. Golfers are also not allowed to measure wind or use the device to compute other data in its capacity during the competitive game. Rule 4.3a (1) Distance and Directional Information. Allowed: Getting information on distance or direction (such as from a distance-measuring device or compass). Not Allowed: Measuring elevation changes, or Interpreting distance or directional information (such as using a device to get a recommended line of play or club selection based on the location of the player's ball).
  8. Unless they weren't notified until the DQ. Seems the officials were notified of multiple infringements all at once. Otherwise, yes...would be blatant cheating...which seems unlikely. In golf, TV viewers many times report rules infringements they see that officials don't. Then vids are reviewed. If it's determined to be correct info... penalties are assessed, including DQ. Ignorance of the rules doesn't matter. This is excerpted from Golf Monthly Vongtaveelap was even par through five holes but was not allowed to continue after USGA officials found that her caddie, Jinsup Kim, had used a rangefinder on multiple occasions.
  9. The devices are mostly permitted in ladies golf since 2021, but not at all tournaments. Also LPGA, USGA and R&A are not consistent and in agreement on their use. Too bad for sure, but they (golfer and caddie are a team) need to be privy to the rules of the different golf associations and individual tournament rules. A tough lesson learned the hard way and presumably she/they won't make this mistake again.
  10. Surprised it took till now for this tired, silly topic to gobble the gullible.
  11. Agree. Was also gonna suggest Bon Cafe. Cheap and good.
  12. Travel. Birding, hiking, nature photography. Walking and swimming. Podcasts. Video games. Reading.
  13. Tomorrow's headline: KASETSART University academic WRONG. Lay-DEE Own Fault for Losing Leg.
  14. Sawstdee. Welcome to Thailand. Enjoying your stay? Now show us your papers.⛔ Nice touch.
  15. Just recycling the same "future telling" everyday. Bound to get it right one if these months.☀️
  16. Dream On, dream on, dream on Dream on till yo dreams come true❗ -Aerosmith
  17. Pattaya's always been a Boom-Boomtown❗Now they want to demote it to just single Boom and you think that's an opportunity❓???? Pattaya's best days are well behind it. Save yo bucks Bogs.
  18. The confused emoji face is generally used to mean "DISAGREE", rather actually being confused. Just like the laugh emoji is many times "mocking" rather than mirth. Depends on the post. Gotta read between the emojis❗????
  19. Cats are quick and natural born killers. Even (most) domestic cats are instinctive predators. Some are just plain sloths, but most still have those hunting instincts.
  20. Be a much safer place and successful sweep if they'd start specifically targeting Thai crime...starting from within their very own ranks.
  21. Thai justice is a freakin' joke. I knew a girl for 10 years in Kanchanaburi who was raped then brutally murdered (knife) at 32 y.o. by a worthless piece of <deleted> scum Thai maniac. He got 7 years. Only surprise in the highly glossed over OP case is that it wasn't the foreigner who was fined instead. Pathetic Thailand.
