One one hand this entire antiquated process...snail mail, delivered mail sitting for months without being collected, SLOW processing, lack of knowledge/concern or remedies on SSA end, Wilkes-Barre and Manila FBU not doing their jobs, and complete INEPTITUDE is outrageous and totally unacceptable. On the other hand, it's just so typical and mildly amusing...government apathy and inability to do a simple job. Would be almost funny, if not such a serious matter. More serious for some than others but regardless of financial situation, no one wants to be bothered with such a simple process being turned into a "federal case" ever...so much as on an annual basis. Then having to jump through multiple flaming hoops, do double and triple work to double and triple check that the idiots are actually doing their jobs. Un-<deleted>-believable.

Have read of some having problems with it, initially anyway, but seems very few. Has worked perfectly for me since it's inception a year ago. Just did most recent 2 days ago at 0818 and got approval at 1256, under 5 hours. Even tho immigration is only a 5 min walk and can be seen from my lanai, I just do online. Quick & easy from the comfort of home.

Would be nice, but have had a MySS online account and been paperless since these options became available. Have looked but not seen anywhere (or how) this can be done online. It's ridiculous, but seems old school snail-mail is presently still the only way. ????

Just received my first SS benefit payment this month after a 4+ month wait for approval. Was relieved and thrilled it was finally approved without any further questions, info, documents or phone interviews necessary....AND NOW HAVE THIS BS TO LOOK FORWARD TO. ????

B7000 for root canal seems very reasonable. I had a very back lower tooth filled a week ago, without novacaine, for B1500. Had a composite filling done a few months back, with novacaine, for B2000. Not sure how that compares with other places, but yes, the work is top notch AND it's only a 3 min walk away! Willing to pay a bit more for convenience.

These light controlled crosswalks are causing more harm and danger than any good. Unsuspecting newbie pedestrians are trusting and expecting Thai drivers (worst, most unobservant, apathetic and oblivious drivers on earth) to STOP. They are fooled and not looking all ways before actually crossing. Many just blow through at speed. This is chronic everywhere in Thailand. Much safer to just wait for traffic to pass and safely cross while actually observing the conditions, instead of trusting ineffective lights, sound effects and these idiot drivers.
