Have been asked for PP 4 times over 27 years. Had it with me one time. 1 time around 2000 offered my US driving license without issue. Twice in more recent years including once last year, showed pics on my phone once and Thai driving license the other. All without any further hassle. Unless up to no good...prob safe with those copies. ????

Not here in The Old City, Chiang Mai. Was on Walking Street Sunday night at 6pm and it started blaring. GF was the first to freeze up. Soon hundreds and hundreds of us pretending to be respectful, like silly statues. Bunch of BS. Even at high school sporting events when was a kid...a few of us would remain on our asses, which totally incensed the faculty. ???? Here I comply (when with Thais anyway), but this ridiculous power play and controlling of the masses has gotta stop.

Yes, near impossible to get BOLT in CM. Also had 2 drivers accept the ride...THEN contact me wanting more money! In CM have pretty much gone back to GRAB. It's twice the price, but can get a ride.

Not true. Have called 3 times recently and spoke with a "live person" each time. Had to wait on-hold 35 minutes once, but other 2 were answered quicker. Best to call immediately after they open.

Reading your latest update made me decide to check my status for the first time in a week, despite being on a 10-day holiday in Chiang Mai. To my pleasant surprise... Took 4.5 months for approval...but no interview, no phone calls, no copies...no nuthin'. ????
