    Not unusual here. Many Thai males same, with violence and murder as the outcome, if on a lesser scale. Only positive in the heartbreaking and horrific story is that he took himself out. Should have just started with himself and left all innocents out.

    Called Baltimore office Thursday. Was told it was still being processed. Said some do take longer, but since it's been more than 60 days he could send an inquiry. Hope this gets the ball rolling again and excruciatingly slow process finalized.

    Not sure Jomtien requires a map and has never requested one from me. Could be because I'm only a 5 minute walk away.

    Yes, used Fatboy's a few years ago but they still required me to get a Residence Certificate first. It's ridiculous tho that CW renewed my "retirement extension" twice at the same address, with rental agreement, and required a map to it...but would not grant a Residence Certificate without 90 Day. Good enough for extension of stay, but not Residence Certificate. ????

    If you do not have a 90 Day Report, you will not get a Residence Certificate at CW. If a US citizen (don't know about other nationalities), can get a same day notarized equivalent, which is accepted, at the US embassy for $50.
