Anyone unaware of this obvious fact is willfully ignorant and part of this stupid and dangerous problem. Murdoch and his gaping team of a-holes should be held seriously accountable for intentionally lying about, well...almost everything. The credible ones all bailed out when it finally got too ???? ???? over-the-top insane.

Personally, I've had nothing but positive experiences at Jomtien Immigration. 90-day reports (prior to new online reporting) were quick and easy. Extension based on Retirement was very efficient, smooth and easy. Hopefully this continues. Cannot say the same for Chaeng Wattana when I lived in BKK. Everything there...from Residence Certificate to Change of Address to Retirement Extension...was jumping thru flaming hoops whilst climbing Mt. Everest and "baditude". Happy to be dealing with Chon Buri now.

Yesterday 15 Feb initiated a Wise transfer from USA ($3000USD) to THB (Bangkok Bank). Was informed the funds would arrive today, 16 Feb. Today I received this email... Sorry, we need more time to process your transfer of USD to THB. Unfortunately, the partner bank we use to process THB transfers is going to take a little longer to complete your payment. That means your transfer will arrive later than expected. It should now take 2 working days to be paid out. We’ll email you again when we’ve sent out your transfer. Sorry again for the wait. Thanks, The Wise Team

Keeping American cell provider and phone number abroad
Skeptic7 replied to InlandSea's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
Don't know much about Mint, but you prob need some sort of International Plan from them. Certainly they couldn't give a flip where you live, as I see they have International services. However, your credit card company or issuing bank may care and cancel you if you don't maintain a USA mailing address. This could be a problem if you pay for Mint with a credit card. -
Can someone explain why this is even necessary❓ Why can't the passport holder just say they want it transferred and get it done? Meaning we just successfully secured a new passport and if we didn't want it transferred, we wouldn't eff'n ask for it❗Why would it be denied? Why do we need a special approval❓All that said, assuming it's the old guilty of something until the government says we're not, but really...what gives❓❗❓

Depends on the length of the overstay and if you are just departing normally and not found out until reaching airport immigration. When surrendering at airport immigration when leaving Thailand: Overstay less than 90 Days = 500 Thai baht/day overstay fine (maximum 20,000 Thai baht) Overstay more than 90 Days = 1 year ban from Thailand and 20,000 Thai baht overstay fine Overstay more than 1 Year = 3 years ban from Thailand and 20,000 Thai baht overstay fine Overstay more than 3 Years = 5 years ban from Thailand and 20,000 baht overstay fine Overstay more than 5 Years = 10 years ban from Thailand and 20,000 baht overstay fine When caught while overstaying: Overstay of 1 day to 1 Year = 5 years ban from Thailand and 500 to 20,000 Thai baht overstay fine Overstay more than 1 Year = 10 years ban from Thailand and 20,000 Thai baht overstay fine

Cabinet approves tourist fee of 150-300 baht for all foreign tourists
Skeptic7 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Just another "Typically Thailand" greedy money grab. B300 is a subtle pittance hidden in the ticket price, but multiply it by 10 or 20 million entries per year and it's a nice ripe chunk of change for the takin' by by the corrupt and greedy fat in charge of this BS. Certainly won't be going towards improving or helping anything. B6,000,000,000/year = CHA-CHING❗???? -
New Rule: A Woke Revolution | Real Time with Bill Maher (HBO)

He's ALWAYS done this, regardless of party or side. You either haven't been paying attention or are not much familiar with him. -

Wrong about Maher. He got canceled Politically Incorrect for telling the truth and it "offended" some. Networks censor and change. Politics change. Parties change. Maher hasn't changed. His message is the same as always. He calls out everybody...left as well as right. Dem as well as Rep. Friend as well as foe. He may not always be correct but he and his views, opinions and politics haven't changed. -

Why think everybody should be just like you? Do you need to tell others what to do and not do? Why not just listen to your "whatever" music and leave others do as they choose? I feel better already not listening to a certain other idiot. -
Chiang Mai is awesome, especially if ya like mountains and nature. I'm in CM now. Days are hot but less humid. 32c now, 16c this morning. Low 14c tomorrow morning and high is supposed to be 35c. Nights are still pleasantly cool. Bring a jacket cuz you may need it at night and especially if you do anything at elevation. Air quality has been OK but prob getting worse soon. Doesn't bother me enough to avoid or stay away, regardless how bad. I always stay in The Old City and there's plenty to do, see, eat and drink. The problem is almost everything shuts at midnight and most restaurants close at 9 or 10pm. Was at Renegades Sports Bar and Craft Beer last night and wanted to order food at 1030pm but the kitchen was already closed! Other areas may be different, but I like it in and around the Thapae Gate, Loi Kroh Road and The Moat. Train is fun if you're traveling with someone and get a 1st Class Sleeper. Flights are abundant, fast and cheap. I could easily spend 2 months. 5th trip up here in the past year and have spent a total of 55 days. Back home to Jomtien tomorrow. It's great up here and I highly recommend it. ????

90 day reporting funds in bank

If Jomtien, just throw that 90-day money-in-the-bank form in the nearest trash bin and don't give it another thought. -

My little Tirak watches these loud mouth crunching & lip smacking slobs on YouTube. I always start making similar barnyard noises as loud as possible. She just giggles and keeps on watching. Bizarre. ???? -

True about Delta being last...and those 16 747-400s were NWA (formerly Northwest/Northwest Orient) jets inherited by Delta in the merger of the 2 carriers in 2008. -

35 year career in aviation. By far and without compare, the absolute King, as well as Queen Of The Skies. Nicknamed "The Whale", the 747-400 achieved near perfection. Nothing even comes close. Doubtful anything ever will. ???? -
Same ol' story, same ol' song and dance. There may be an official rule, but doesn't mean every office and officer is privy and/or onboard. As usual...Totally depends on the provincial office and then left up to interpretation by whichever officer one deals with on any given day. The rules are...there ain't no consistent rules.
