  1. Which means I've never fallen for the marketing hype. See it which ever way you want to.
  2. Both my wife and I had this problem recently. Hers was accompanied by a persistent cough. We used this spray and the problem was soon resolved. I also flushed my nasal passages with salt water using a neti pot to clear the crap out. She was a bit hesitant about that.
  3. It's all a load of marketing hype in my opinion. I've never imbibed protein powder in my life, nor have I ever lifted weights or even visited a gym for that matter and am still fit, healthy and sickness free at 77 years. (78 next month) A good diet, moderate daily exercise and plenty of fresh air are the basic requirements. Add in a stress free life style and good breathing and you've got it made.
  4. Then why did you even bother to raise this topic? Duh!!!!!!
  5. May I remind you that you brought up the issue of Brits pensions, (with your very ill-informed comment) not me.
  6. We all have different issues to contend with, but it doesn't make the above statement any less true. Us Brits pay income tax on our pensions, including the state pension. (I paid 1,144 GBP last year) so we should not be affected at all by this new ruling.
  7. We all die. Some folks fear it, others are more accepting of it. As you've probably gathered, I fall into latter category. In fact what I fear more than death is living without being able to live a full life, as I am doing at the moment. Even at 77 years. Enjoy your day.
  8. I disagree. All insurance is a gamble And as far medical insurance goes as one gets older the 'Law of Diminishing Returns' becomes more and ever more applicable. Surviving serious intervention as one ages becomes much more of a struggle and can make life, for many unacceptable. Which is why I prefer an Advance Directive (Living Will) to a medical insurance policy. (They're also much cheaper) Albert Einstein understood this. He had a serious heart condition, but he declined medical intervention. 'I've done my bit, it's time to go' he said. Accepting medical treatment is not compulsory, it's up to the individual.
  9. Isn't buying insurance another kind of gamble?
  10. Not true. It's always rigged when my wife doesn't win and that's always!
  11. They use standard tamper proof methods, in line with many lotteries worldwide.
  12. Where is all that 'further evidence' you allude to? In fact where is there ANY evidence?
  13. Which is probably why the feature has been removed. They obviously didn't think it through very well.
  14. Gawd, another dreamer who thinks he's going to come and live in Nirvana. Just look at all the moaning and groaning on this forum pal and think again .
  15. Have they, what's this about then? Srettha condemns “inhumane attacks” on Israel
  16. Read the news properly. Thai hostages are not being exchanged for Palestinian prisoners. Their release is a separate issue that is being negotiated In Qatar with help from the Egyptians
  17. There'll be plenty of Christmas lights not far from us in Tha Rae, Sakon Nakhon.
  18. No, but my Buddhist wife does! Go figure that one.
  19. Just leave. If you don't buy a re-entry permit your extension is automatically invalidated. What you do with your money is entirely up to you.
  20. When someone is asking a serious question about their health, it is better to make no comment rather than an ill-informed one. Your comment WAS ill-informed.
  21. Registered post takes around the same amount of time and is a lot cheaper around 250 THB. The time it takes depends very much on the availability of carriers. With BA not operating direct services to the UK, the time taken is somewhat unpredictable. I've sent many letters by registered post and it is very reliable.
  22. I've no idea and what does it matter? I live here, not there.
  23. You must be very bored!
  24. No issues now using Win 11 and Opera browser. It played up first time around, so I closed my browser and restarted it, swept all reference to ASEAN NOW from my browser history and started over. All seems well now.
  25. Yes we are aware. Yes this is the wrong forum for this topic. Petitions are a waste of time, but thanks for trying.
