Of course people have done silly things like sinking everything they have into crypto just in the past few years when the market was already sky-high hoping to get rich instead of having a balanced portfolio. In the Dot Com crash I lost a considerable sum in Tech stocks and of course I bought into the green energy hype which caused me nothing but consternation. However, I did not put all of my eggs in one basket. Life can be good if you do things smartly, there is always a risk in anythink you do. Have a friend who just lost over 50k USD on a Margin call, foolish he was to have bought some of the stocks he did with the market in a pull back.

Far from disappointed am I.

But what is truly "Fair and Balanced" when it comes to reporting news? The idea that anything can be fair is a relative question that hangs in the balance, so which is it? https://fairandbalanced.substack.com/p/anti-woke-grievance "In case you’re not very familiar with this topic, I’ll give a quick summary. Wokeness is generally understood to be political correctness run amok. It is a term that represents an excessive, oversensitive, and repressive response to the idea that societal inequities are systemic in nature and that societal change to remedy that fact is justifiable." Anti-wokeness refutes the legitimacy of this idea, and decries the “woke” response to it as a threat to the fabric of liberal (free) society. A common thread in anti-woke discourse proclaims the notion that equality and equity have generally made progress over the past century (this, of course, is broadly true) and so it follows that our society should be less concerned with issues of equality and equity than we were in the past, and that these concepts should dissipate in relevance and prominence in our culture and politics (this, I contend, is false logic at best).

Statute of limitations A statute of limitations, known in civil law systems as a prescriptive period, is a law passed by a legislative body to set the maximum time after an event within which legal proceedings may be initiated. In the United States, a government agency is permitted by the Congress to create under federal regulations its own statute of limitations.Wikipedia

We can agree to disagree, how about that! All information posted can be interpreted anyway you want it to be. I find your post to me misinformation and garbage as well...toodles. BTW the original meaning for WOKE has been hijacked by many others, time for you to move onboard the train that it has become.

From my Brother Templars comes the real view on Wokeism https://www.knightstemplarorder.com/what_is_wokism Like every other totalitarian movement, what some call liberalism and others more recently often describe as Cultural Marxism has developed an ideology which its adherents use to justify the imposition of tyranny on the society they seek to overtake. The ideology of America’s contemporary totalitarian left can be called wokeism. The four intellectual pillars of wokeism are: Anti-white racism disguised under the euphemism social justice. Rejection of traditional morality, which is primarily carried out by the promotion of sexually deviant lifestyles such as homosexuality and transgender. In a truly surreal inversion of reality, they paint traditional morality as immoral by charging it with being homophobic, transphobic, and similar terms. Environmentalism based on the notion that it is desirable and possible to arrest climate change. Intense hostility toward Christian religion, which they negatively paint as patriarchal, intolerant, and oppressive.

This along with the Malaysian MbB 1 scandal shows how endemic corruption is within governments, yet they drag their heels and slowly look away for many years before they do anything about it. Thai Airways continued to hemorrhage money even after the engine scandal with endemic corruption by allowing people to fly for free (Dont you know who I am syndrome), folks being removed from first class seats and moved rearward, for which they had payed for so these freebies could be given and so on......

We all can see the deteriorating exports and imports from the supply chain for many items. It is not just because of the Pandemic, the debacle in the Ukraine, or from shortages due to labor issues, but has been coming for a great while. Resources the world over are starting to dwindle in prior locations and new locations need to be sourced and workers obtained. When countries the world over rely on just a few select locations to obtain certain products, from which to feed their country, then there is definitely going to be a problem when those sources dry up due to either over purchasing or blockages in the supply line. With inflation rising everywhere, and with wages being stagnate here in Thailand for the majority, rising prices and a lack of items for those folks will be around for awhile if the Government does not stop spending billions on Military hardware and does not look to the farmers to start to produce alternate crops to feed the people from.

Either going the way the dinosaurs did or maybe the good lord needs another flood to wash away the ungrateful, but then who would be aloud to cut trees and build an ark in this day and age....we are so forked. I always wanted a cabin up high on a mountain where I could be completely off the grid and never have to deal with anyone ever again, then I realized that was unattainable, so I decided I needed a self sustaining underground bunker........it is a crazy world we live in.

Basically, everyone wants to have their cake and eat it to and is concerned about everyone else's views and want the whole world to be a lighter shade of gray as long as it does not offend them. People need to grow thicker skin and stop being wussies.

It appears Thailand should be concerned with Myanmar as they are an ocean front country that has big friends in Russia and China as well. Myanmar is also substantially larger than Thailand. Additionally Myanmar has Subs already. https://www.navalnews.com/naval-news/2021/12/myanmar-commissions-type-35b-ming-class-submarine-from-china/ Size or Area of Myanmar (Burma) is 676,578 square kilometers Thailand, spans 513,120 square kilometers, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_equipment_in_the_Myanmar_Navy#Submarines

Thai police searching for monkeypox-infected Nigerian man

Try again, if it was found to lay dormant it would be discussed in scientific circles as this would be a game changer as far as it being a sleeper virus. https://www.who.int/news-room/fact-sheets/detail/monkeypox Key facts Monkeypox is usually a self-limited disease with the symptoms lasting from 2 to 4 weeks. Severe cases can occur. In recent times, the case fatality ratio has been around 3–6%. Monkeypox is transmitted to humans through close contact with an infected person or animal, or with material contaminated with the virus. Monkeypox virus is transmitted from one person to another by close contact with lesions, body fluids, respiratory droplets and contaminated materials such as bedding. Monkeypox typically presents clinically with fever, rash and swollen lymph nodes and may lead to a range of medical complications. The incubation period (interval from infection to onset of symptoms) of monkeypox is usually from 6 to 13 days but can range from 5 to 21 days. -

So he has had the Monkeypox since October and it was only caught now, are you for real with this view? I can not find any indication that the virus can lay dormant in ones body. https://www.cdc.gov/poxvirus/monkeypox/faq.html People who do not have monkeypox symptoms cannot spread the virus to others. Monkeypox can spread from the time symptoms start until the rash has fully healed and a fresh layer of skin has formed. The illness typically lasts 2-4 weeks. -
