All vaccines regardless of age of recipient have the ability to cause problems for certain people. Side effects can and do occur with all vaccines not just Covid. Why do you think there are Antivaccination groups. Certain religions also do not believe in any vaccinations.

Not an issue any more? Really? I think your not looking at the cases and growth with the new variants. Sure the world needs to move on, but dismissing Covid as nothing is far from the truth. The OP is on Covid and not road deaths. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/ https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/weekly-trends/#weekly_table

Thai police searching for monkeypox-infected Nigerian man
ThailandRyan replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
I did, he had sex with someone, so when exactly, 2 to 3 weeks ago is not much to go on now is it, and without saying where or with whom....and who are we to believe since he fled, as he was on an overstay, and avoiding treatment. Many ways to get off of the Island without getting caught. -
Thai police searching for monkeypox-infected Nigerian man
ThailandRyan replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
Watching this mornings news it appears the Nigerian man in question has been in the country since last year. If so then where did he pick up the infection, enquiring minds want to know. -
Hub of Magic 8 Ball users.

The reason he and his ilk will walk is they already gave themselves amnesty for any wrong doings, yet when Yingluck tried to give Amnesty to others she was charged and removed from office.

The mall housing Golf shops on 4 floors is just down the road and all of the Japanese restaurants are in that Area. Maybe I am the only one that calls that Area by that name, but in the day, prior to Covid, it was filled with Japanese shops on the opposite side of the larger Patpong road. There is another Patpong road on the where Foodland is and that's where many bars are. We avoid that Soi.

Walked down Patpong as we cut through to go home after dinner last night after exiting from the BTS at Sal Daeng. First time I have ever seen the main street open and touts badgering us as we walked on through, "Ping Pong Show" he kept yelling and then got in front of my GF and tried to convince her....looks like the sex tourism industry along the Japanese corridor in Silom is off to a brisk start....

But that would mean the Hi-So's would be loosing money from their investments, yet they would be making millions more from those buying their items at their places of business.

Of course that is your view, and those of us who think otherwise you call fearful, try again and realize that Covid is a serious issue for many, and not just the old with comorbidities. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/35071254/ Approximately 91.23% (655/718) of COVID-19 patients were younger than 60 years old

You might want to rethink your post as far as the death decreasing. https://srv1.worldometers.info/coronavirus/weekly-trends/#weekly_table

Why do you folks like to equate Road deaths with Covid, that belief is of no true comparison in either accidents or Covid cases and infections, but go on believing there is a correlation.

Went out on the town tonight here in BKK for our anniversary dinner. Had a great dinner, restaurant was full, Took the MRT back to Asoke and Nana, just returned home, a Friday night devoid of any true nightlife. Maybe because of the rain.

Thailand reports first case of Omicron BA.2.75 sub-variant
ThailandRyan replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Think your loosing the context, Covid is far from a bad cold as you say folks like to espouse. Yes you still need to be careful. Family I know now have 3 of 6 in the hospital, 1 older adult and now both children. Breathing issues. While Grandpa on day 5 is feeling fantastic and almost healed. It definitely affects people differently -
Dreadful hotels beachside, Really? I think you have missed out on the nice hotels which we stay at, of course we are talking 4 star and 5 star hotels. Beautiful beach access in Cha Am all the way down to Pranburi. Awesome places, but then not the nightlife single expats want. Before we bought the Villa house in the Khao Tao Lake area we stayed all over and the daughter enjoyed riding the horses on the beaches. You might want to expand your views a little bit. Sure its not the Andaman side style of beaches but there are very many nice beaches especially down near the Pranburi Forest reserve and the Bella Costa Condos which are ocean front. Having the condo in BKK near Lumpini Park and the House gives us a good variety. If I need to access Suvarnabhumi then I can drive up and park in the condo, take the MRT to the SRT and to the airport without the need for a taxi.

So this guy thinks 6 million visitors by years end compared to the 10 million in another OP running. I only see the GDP rising to maybe 2% by years end, but then that's debatable.
