Do you have any proof, I mean concrete proof that only one side is telling hundreds of self serving lies? I will direct you to take in inner look at the now former POTUS to see where his lies, and the conspiracies folks believe about him are now coming out to be truths. Evidence and real photos or it never happened as we do live in a true world of daily misinformation which we must wade through. If one does not take the time to look at both sides of the issue and believes what they are being told then who is to blame for the continuing of those conspiracies.

Not sure it's a loss of reality but a want and need to believe in the stories they are being fed not only through the real media but the false media as well. Not too many years back parents would instill fear in there children by telling them that the boogeyman was real, or that if they did nt listen to the parents the police would come and lock them up. Were these examples a conspiracy? one started in the home. Yes, I do believe so. Many grow up believing the snake charmer, con man, magicians etc.....

We Finally Know the Case Against Trump, and It Is Strong
ThailandRyan replied to onthedarkside's topic in World News
Hush money in political circles has been paid for many years going all the way back to Warren Harding, who paid his mistress to stay quiet about their ongoing affair, even while he was still president. Yet none of them went to the depths that Trump has gone t to create fictitious business records in order to hide the fact he paid money, and how much of Trumps funds for these payments came from his campaign finance money donated by the millions of followers he has instead of out of his own pocket.- 105 replies

NY grand jury votes to indict Donald Trump, sources tell CNN
ThailandRyan replied to Scott's topic in World News
Please explain why you believe that this is being driven by Democrats as a politically motivated prosecution. The facts speak for themselves. The man committed crimes and was indicted and arraigned on them. White collar crime does not go unpunished, and it does not matter whether you are a Republican, Democrat, an Independent or so on. Do you believe that no one has ever Been prosecuted for the same charges Trump is being charged with. It does not matter who the person is, if they did the crime they are prosecuted, do they serve actual time, well that's up to the court, but many high profile folks have, but then you can believe what you want. -

Trump has pleaded not guilty to 34 counts of falsifying business records
ThailandRyan replied to Scott's topic in World News
This right here, and from the link above, really says a lot regarding how Trump is viewed. “There will be other shoes to drop and I expect Mitch McConnell knows more about Donald Trump’s situation than we do,” he added. “He is one of the most influential and best-informed people in the country and has all kinds of sources of information and he probably sees other things coming.” Scott Jennings, a Republican strategist who has advised McConnell’s past campaigns, noted the Senate GOP leader is sticking to his strategy of staying clear of Trump, who has attacked him repeatedly over the past two years. -

Once again you have a hard time understanding that the man you support and hold up high could not have possibly done anything wrong. You do understand that a sitting president can not be prosecuted while in office and so the charging time starts the day he left office. Read and gather your facts please. Below is an article link from which i obtained and posted the actual indictment linked below. Have you even read the Indictment? When you do read it you may have a true understanding of this case. However, you may not and may say it's utter tosh, up to you. https://www.huffpost.com/entry/statement-of-facts-trump-charges-indictment_n_642c5063e4b0c8ff0408aabc https://www.scribd.com/document/636103675/Donald-Trump-Statement-of-Fact#from_embed -

Please explain how you know what each of the 34 charges is for, and how they are for the same thing. https://www.forbes.com/sites/saradorn/2023/04/04/trump-indictment-unsealed-former-president-faces-34-felony-counts-for-multiple-alleged-hush-money-schemes/?sh=72821ec57c0c Only a few of the charges have been explained so please view the timeline in the above linked article Here's another for you, and you do know that a statute is the law that was broken, so in essence Trump Broke it 34 times on different occasions. https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2023/04/04/trump-charges-34-counts-felony/ Does that mean Trump is charged with 34 different crimes? No, the indictment lists 34 felony counts under the same New York statute. Each count represents a separate instance of alleged misconduct, but not a different type of crime. -

Well in his view, and his followers eyes he did. The man lived off of others peoples glory from days of yore and created a world full of chaos, putting us where we are today. It didn't just fall apart when he stepped out of office as he wants us all to believe. I have some questions for the man myself, but in true Donald speak he would say "Don't question me, Don't you know who I am, I could destroy you, in fact Your Fired". During todays proceedings his and the prosecutions lawyers were warned about social media posts and spouting rhetoric, yet that did not stop old Donnie now did it one he got back to Mara Lago...... https://www.forbes.com/sites/saradorn/2023/04/04/trump-judge-chastises-ex-president-for-inflammatory-rhetoric-and-doesnt-rule-out-gag-order/ Manhattan criminal court Judge Juan Merchan reportedly warned former President Donald Trump not to engage in rhetoric that could “jeopardize the rule of law” during his historic Tuesday arraignment—a reference to a string of incendiary statements Trump has made in the lead-up to his indictment. As is his usual rhetoric Trump blamed the Democrats as being the driving force behind his being persecuted. https://www.cbsnews.com/miami/news/watch-live-trump-to-speak-at-mar-a-lago-tuesday-evening/ Trump painted the indictment as Democrats' latest attempt to kneecap him, citing "fraudulent investigations" on Russia and Ukraine, and "impeachment hoax one" and "impeachment hoax two." Trump said his opponents have "really stepped up their efforts by indicting the 45th president of the United States." Trump just can not help himself, the man truly is unstable. There could be a video of him doing something and of course he would deny it, even with the evidence at hand. It appears he may have messed up even more in an interview he did the night before the hearing and arraignment. -
Anyone knows a beach spot that could be turned into a bar?
ThailandRyan replied to heiri007's topic in Hua Hin and Cha-Am
Starting to see the likes of the picture in the post above more and more along Pranburi Beach road. On this mornings walk we found a coconut smoothie truck. There is one that is near the Police outpost on the Pranburi beach road that sets up in the evenings and is an actual bar. They must have approval if they park in the lot near the Police substation. -

The issue at hand is that Trump has managed to make his followers believe he is the only one ever to be taken to task and is being persecuted. He uses the term witch hunt so much that folks believe his drivel, without looking further to enlighten themselves. Trump is not the first and will not be the last: Below is a article regarding White Collar Crime. Read the first sentence under the Link, and this is exactly what Trump has done and has been indicted for. https://www.investopedia.com/terms/w/white-collar-crime.asp White-collar crime is a nonviolent crime often characterized by deceit or concealment to obtain or avoid losing money or property, or to gain a personal or business advantage. High-profile individuals convicted of white-collar crimes include Ivan Boesky, Bernard Ebbers, Michael Milken, and Bernie Madoff. Their crimes have included insider trading, accounting scandals, securities fraud, and Ponzi schemes. -

Cases do take time to be built, and iron clad ones to prove a case is solid before being prosecuted take time. Add in the fact that nothing could be done to him while he was a sitting president, and that's why the time has finally come. The media can do what they like, no one is telling them to hone in on the Trump issues, he is easy money from a viewership point of view to the media companies. All the other stories are now back page news, but they are still there. -

My answer to your question "But would have they put the resources into this over something that happened some years ago if it wasn't Trump.", is yes they would, and white collar crime for the most part is never printed in papers, but prosecutions do occur and unfortunately those with less money than Mr. Trump do jail time. My Daughter as a Honors Business major and MBA student did her thesis on white collar crime. It was recommended by the University she graduated from that she send it out to be published as a small book which they could use for classes in the future for Students studying on business crimes as part of the syllabus. -

I do not believe that anything can penetrate the mans Thick skull. He believes that he can do what he wishes and when the house of cards falls because of him he blames everyone else. What happened to the days where when the head of a company, a CEO, or even the President accepted the blame for what occurred under their watch. Now its everyone throwing all others under the bus. Trump does this especially well, and to use his own Mantra when things go wrong, he points at others and yells "Your Fired" -
Can you please show us a link for a ambulance company/rescue unit and its written policy where they are mandated to take the person to an expensive hospital. From the way I have observed it to be done, the crews take the injured to the nearest hospital, and only then if they can not be treated there are they transported elsewhere.

As an independent I agree as I support the Indictment for Trump and anyone else who pulls the same crimes. -
Thank you for the additional comment regarding the two accounts needing to be linked. I was sent an e-mail late last night from the BOI LTR Unit requesting I submit PDF's of my PP Bio Page, the last entry stamp into Thailand, and the pages showing the issued 10 year LTR Visa, and the 5 year permission to stay stamp as well. It seems that when they issued my Visa back last October they never truly entered it into the system and therefore without the supporting documents, which I know they did make copies of, it is why I was put back into Step 7 and the account for me still requesting I make an appointment for Visa insertion. Just more of the bumps in the road we have been feeling as the process gets smoothed out for others. For those that have received the Visa and it being stamped in their PP, please go to the BOI Visa website, log in and double check to ensure yours shows completed. If not please contact the BOI LTR unit and talk to them.
