    Speaking as a Brit we all know Biden hates us, his closest allies, and betrayed us over the manner of the USA's withdrawal from Afganisthan. At least Trump told us of his plan to withdraw. Nothing at all from Biden. On that basis alone give me Trump anytime.

    The Thais have always wanted 'upmarket' visitors ie people with plenty of money who know how to behave. Their intentions have, however, not been realized ever since cheap flights became available some years ago.

    Ridiculous amount of noise from the police on this small incident, but also stupidity by the tourist for fishing illegally and then posting on the internet. Too many foreigners arriving here in recent times leave their brains at the airport.

    My cats spend a lot of time on my Oxford green BMW. Such little scratching as there is can be easily removed given the amount of wax polish already applied to the car. Car covers never really serve any purpose unless the rubber window seals have deteriorated.

    Yes, blurring seems to be on the increase on TV, especially in movies. I recently saw a woman with a good figure, fully dressed, with her breast area blurred out.

    I agree. Of all the countries where I have lived and worked Thailand, where I have lived in retirement since 1993 having first visited in 1960, and Taiwan would be my 2 top choices.

    50 years plus. On reflection, 60 years plus. In the late 70's/early 80's the best bar in Asia, according to Time Magazine and in my opinion, was the original Queen's Castle, near to the old KLM office on Patpong 1. There was no night market in those days and it was fun all the way. If you weren't around at that time I can fully understand you will wonder what on Earth I'm talking about. ATB.
