  1. Why don't a lot of you guys just accept that there are young Thai thugs that just enjoy and ' get off ' on dishing out unwanted and gratuitous violence to foreigners for no reason whatsoever.
  2. He hasn't been given the go ahead by the all powerful.
  3. Methinks he isn't getting the nod from the all powerful to pave the way for her return.
  4. I am sticking with Pacific Cross. 46,826 baht for inpatient care only. 10,000,000 baht of cover. 10,000 baht a day for private room I have excess of 40,000 baht, and I am 62 years old.
  5. Correct, Just thugs and bullies who love the ' gang ' mentality. Very few are brave on their own, and when caught, they scream for Mummy and Daddy and blame their classmates.
  6. Don't believe all you read and these feckless idiots are visited often by Embassy represtatives or volunteers. The police know this and are very careful. Foreigners get taken care of better than Thais . He is making it up to garner sympathy for his Go fund me cause. The Thai police and prison holding cells are a damn sight better than they were 25 years ago, and treatment of prisoners has come a long way to the benefit of those incarcerated. I know, I have been there. He is lying.
  7. 1. They don't shackle people in the police cells only for transfer to the courts. 2. Water is freely available. 3. Stealing a car usually is a 5 year prison sentence. 4. Police cells don't flood and the police would not attack him unless provoked. They would then get other prisoners to do the job for them 5 it does not cost £5000 for a return ticket and a one way ticket to the UK. It could be closer to £2000. I think the guy is a liar and loser. The money he has paid out would be in compensation to the car owner, and money to get the charges dropped.
  8. It's a total pack of lies and his mother has gone for it hook, line and sinker. Bloody cheeky trying to ' recoup ' losses by asking a GoFundMe. He deserves nothing, except to grow a pair, instead of Mummy and Daddy.
  9. Yeah, Well we know, don't we? Don't let the truth get in the way of a good story, as it will spoil it.
  10. Well he wouldn't be posting if the guy had landed on him😂😂😂
  11. Yes, He'll get good behaviour reductions and substantial reductions on such celebrations like the King's birthday etc, as it was a non-violent crime, as in not a murder etc, and the case is not related to drugs. He'll probably also qualify for home detention and ankle tag at a later date, not too far in the future.
  12. I hope this shuts up the Liberals and the Muslim sympathizers
  13. These shariah courts should be shut and outlawed. We cannot pander to Muslims and allow them to operate a dual legal system to suit them. Would they allow us to do it in any Muslim country?
  14. Absolutely right. You only need to go to a Labour conference or gathering and see the Palestinian flags getting waved. Do the Muslims want to give special status to gays? Not on your life! A despicable religion which only goes in one direction - Theirs!
  15. I carry two UK passports. They transferred my retirement extensions from one passport to the new one, very easily at Kalasin immigration. I will have the same issue in a couple or three years, when my passport for the 5-year visa will expire, and I want to move passports same as the OP. It all makes perfect sense what both you and Dr Jack are saying, what I mean is I hope the Immigration see it the same way. We know they are a law unto themselves, as even different offices interpret the rules and regulations as they wish.
  16. Well, it sounds like a good idea. Let's hope immigration have a common sense approach, and it's as simple as you say above.
  17. Yes. It would work on your passport but we are talking about the DTV VISA side of things Because as yet there isn't a 5 year DTV VISA stamp
  18. There isn't a stamp transfer per se. You show the piece of A4 which contains your photo and passport number, and they stamp you in for 180 days. There isn't a 5-year visa stamp entered into your passport. He needs to carry two passports for a while and check with immigration if they will move it over in the computer, or else he must continue carrying the new and the expired passport for which the DTV visa applies. Ideally, there should be a 5-year visa inserted into the passport as a stamp which can be transferred.
