  1. Clamp down on your own criminals as well, especially those in the RTP
  2. Because they reported and said he has a Thai passport and has Thai residency/citizenship. And from the posse attending the police station, it looks like all his family are in business in Thailand too.
  3. That was my immediate thoughts, in fact he looks like a gang member with that appearance. It just isn't the ' look ' of normal everyday Pakistanis.
  4. Thailand will end up like the situation in Cambodia where the Thai/Cambodian police detain them at the request of the Chinese government and then when there is enough of them in custody, the Chinese send a plane to collect them with two military guards to one prisoner ratio. It removes the problem for the host country and China gets hold of various gangs and outlaws, who are dealing in every crime possible and imaginable from abroad.
  5. Oh dear, That doesn't sound good. I hope it all works out for you I am going later this month to get sorted via my annual health check paying particular attention to Prostate at Bangkok hospital, Khonkaen. Only just finished with Colonoscopy and Biopsy results tomorrow.
  6. I'm not blaming cannabis, lack of intellect probably caused the problem in the first place.
  7. It was the mighty Liverpool jacket that saved him and his wife.???? He needs to make a pilgrimage to Anfield.
  8. He';s obviously told the wrong ' friend ' about his past life or the Police would never have found him.
  9. What the hell has any of this got to do with the Police? Honestly, for all the knocking we do about the police being lazy and corrupt and then they have to sit there and listen to this drivel and write it all up. The general Thai in the street doesn't half waste the time of Police and hospitals. Small wonder they have limited patience for these people. They are just not mature adults.
  10. As far as I am concerned things got far worse under Prayut, I definitely think corruption got worse, he stacked the senate with his own people to ensure no democracy. He tried to run the country like the general population were his ' little soldiers ' and opinions were not allowed nor welcomed. He was a lousy Prime minister, who seized power through force and a military coup. I am astonished you believe he clamped down on corruption. It was worse than it's ever been in my view. He has tried every trick in the book to remain in power until the courts ruled against him. Even now, he'll be looking at a ' niche ' to stay in government, maybe a similar position to old General Prem or something like a senior advisor to the monarchy or government. Guys like him don't go easily. He's been on the world stage and tasted absolute' power ' Each to their own, but you see things far differently than I, and many others. As far as any new government having a lot to live up to, I think the ' bar ' has been set pretty low.
  11. Cons:- 1. You do not know the way the new government is going to go. 2. You are way too late to this party, this market is already stitched up by the big players. 3. You will attract the wrong type of attention, especially from the BIB 4. Partnerships ' always sink at sea ' the Thai guy will be relying on your lack of knowledge , both of Ganja and the Thai language and Ganja laws. 5. If it was a good idea, your partner ' wouldn't need you ' he would do it alone and get the bank to loan him if his ideas were on solid ground. 6. If it was a great idea, the Thai owner of the hotel, his alleged friend , would be in there a lot faster than you. Pros:- NONE.
  12. I wonder if he is going to record one of his singalong songs about leaving and the wonderful work he has done as Thailand's favorite Prime Minister? He will no doubt be sneaking around trying to find a ' niche ' for himself. People like him never bow out gracefully.
  13. This is turning into a very ' murky and dirty ' affair now. However, with this being high profile and no doubt, the German Embassy will definitely be involved, as well as Thailand's police pin up ' Big Joke ' at the forefront, I cannot see this one being swept under the carpet. Big Joke has an image, (he believes) as a clean cop, he is keen to maintain this due to his political ambitions and Thailand cannot be seen to be the country where ' anything goes ' It isn't the Wild West and they must be seen to have some semblance of law and order. It is sad for the children of the deceased and a terrible way to die. Again, he seemed with the information coming to light to ' sail very close to the wind ' with some of his behaviour, associates and activities such as we are hearing about with involvement with biker gangs, underage sex arrests etc
  14. Because when the deceased was ' stoned ' he used to accuse his mate of stealing it, ( ganga) as well as abusing him often verbally and his sleeping patterns of tossing and turning got on the perpetrators nerves leading to the murder.
  15. Well done to the boy as well, he stood his ground and gave back against these thugs even though, as is usual in Thailand, he was vastly outnumbered 4 or5 to 1.
  16. Lazada is a platform for manufacturers, retailers and distributors.
  17. It's thuggery and bullying plain and simple. Using their positions designed to look after the local community, to enrich themselves and abuse positions of trust. Nothing new and commonplace here.
  18. I had cancer in a certain part of my body and I had an operation 18 years ago, the operation was a success with no recurrence, however, they marked it as a pre condition and anything down in the throat or esophagus relating to cancer is not covered.
  19. This comment I made yesterday about the 3 million baht was before any of this came out. My main point at the time was the fact that the Thai family sprang into action so fast to offer 3 million baht, he hadn't been missing 24 hours at that point. It's as though they knew something. Another point is 3 million is a heck of a lot to offer ' straight off the bat '.......................... It's fishy!
  20. If you sleep and hang around with dogs ...don't be surprised if you wake up with fleas! Or in this case don't wake up at all
  21. Everyone I know does it in the UK either with boxes or firesticks.
  22. Yes, picked up in Sa Kaeo province bordering Scambodia. Makes you think, especially with family so quick to offer 3 million baht reward. Says they know something sinister. You don't offer that in the space of 24 hours for no good reason. RTP have 3 million reasons to solve this case quickly.
  23. You can't keep what doesn't belong to you. It's in her or her family name and as you are probably aware, foreigners cannot own land. Your other option is to face to face her in your own house rather than playing her games of sneaking around or following and checking what she's up to. It's obviously disturbing you. I wouldn't even tell her that you had followed her on Google as her first resort won't be to tell you the truth, it will be to find a way for her to stop you tracking her.
