  1. I just renewed my retirement extension 15 days early, it was due on the 18th 2024 it came back stamped with the same next renewal of 18th 2025. I believe you can renew 30 days in advance. Go to the new document checking area on the left with zig zag walkway tapes, no one else there. the girl checked all papers and copies in order and gave me a number. At this point they give you a new paper that I had not seen before, it covers the conditions and penalties of staying in the Kingdom, sit down outside on the bench outside and sign it, then go straight into the main office. Checked the number screens, number is up there so straight to the desk which is still in the same place. Four officers on duty now behind glass screens, all dressed in very smart blue shirts, I went to the first one on the left. Took him maybe 10 minutes to sort through everything and hand me a plastic number to pick up the next day. Total time from walking in to walking out maybe 15 minutes only, very impressed with what they have done, its almost a pleasure to go there now. Hope this helps you 🙂

Short Thai translations of technical terms are permitted in specialty forums. While we make allowances for members who do not speak English as their first language, we expect everyone to make an effort to post in a manner that allows others to understand their posts. As an international forum we have members from many countries in the world, and English is not the first language of every poster.

LGBT by the sea – Four gay-friendly beach resorts in Thailand No two vacations are alike but some are more memorable than others – and any holiday by the sea has that uniquely relaxing feeling you’ll hardly ever find anywhere else. But where do you stay? When it comes to gay-friendly beach resorts in Thailand, LGBTQ+ travellers are spoilt for choice! From the sleek and stylish resorts of Phuket to the five-starred hotels with direct access to Hua Hin’s seemingly never-ending stretch of powdery white sand, you could spend a year beach-hopping across the Kingdom. But for four of the very best (and most welcoming) places to stay, read on… https://www.gothaibefree.com/lgbt-by-the-sea-four-gay-friendly-beach-resorts-in-thailand/

  18. Six LGBTQ+ destinations around the world Beyond famous hotspots like Brighton and Berlin, these are some of the most accepting places for LGBTQ+ travellers to visit. Even though it's Pride season, it can still be a potentially nerve-racking time for LGBTQ+ travellers. While LGBTQ+ rights and visibility have increased greatly in the last decade, so have some increasingly intimidating threats, as the community continues to battle international customs, legality and cultural norms. Bangkok Thailand legalised same-sex activity back in 1956 and has laws that ban discrimination over gender identity and sexual orientation. What's more, the same-sex marriage bill was just passed last week, making Thailand the only South-East Asian country to recognise same-sex unions. However, since same-sex marriages still weren't legal in 2023, the Asher Fergusson report placed it at #62 on its most recent list.
