There are a couple of places right next to Tong Lor skytrain. One is called Sutti Mansion I think. Excellent location.

but just to pretend I have something to add on the Japanese eat places....you will notice that a lot of them are concentrated in thonglor area...some at the top of thong lor (the area before soi 1 and across the road on the other side), but theres also one small place a little further away from camilian hospital (on the other end) but im so bad with names..could tell you what its called

There is also a good mid-price range one in Siam Square (quite near Boots)

I've never been ID'd an Bed or Qbar... they're normally pretty relaxed about it. I know friends that have been asked and span the line 'oh, I'm sorry I must have forgotten it.. ' and been let in without a problem

I would not rely on this. I have seen loads of people being ID'd at Bed and Q Bar.

On some nights (busy) they definately are strict.
