  1. Been offered a PS3 at Art and Gun (Mbk 6th floor) - 60gb version with one game and extra controller for 39,000

Anyone know if I can beat this somewhere - or whether I can force them much lower. I can wait a few weeks if I will save myself 5000 or so.

    thanks guys

Thats exactly what I paid. MBK level 6.

I got mine a couple of weeks ago tho, so I would have thought that the price may have dropped a little bit since then?...

  2. Think you're on the wrong forum. We don't discuss politics. There are plenty of sites on the net where you can post your looney right wing cut and pastes.

Easy now... I don't see what is so "looney" about quoting a respectable source to make a point on this topic (albeit one that does not quite follow the direction of the thread :o )

  3. Just saw the new Bond movie. It's pretty good, as expected the new actor (can't remember his name) plays Bond in a slightly different way - more "physical" as opposed to "suave". Most of the confrontations are more of a scrap than Bond using cheeky gadgets as in the older films.

The Aston Martin only gets a very brief showing before being written off tho!

Looking forward to seeing Texas chainsaw masacre this week...

  4. Don't worry about tones.... you learn them as you go....

I'm not sure about this. I learnt the tones first and this helped me alot further down the line. Once you have a basic understanding of the tones and the individual vowels pronounciation becomes far easier. (Although, I suppose learning is a very individual thing...)

    As "In The Rai" says

we are creatures of habit and trying to change the way we say things after we have been saying them incorrect for a while is very hard to do.

    :o

  5. I am also scared of spiders, not quite as bad as your fiancee by the sounds of it, but pretty scared nonetheless.

The good news is, I've been livng here for quite a few years and I've only ever seen about 2 big spiders, so theyre not that common (in the cities)

However there are loads of other creepy crawlies. Especially cockraoches :o

  6. Someone used this in the context of "Mike pout mak mak" I know or I am fairly certain that

mak mak means very much or very, but I don't get pout. Any ideas... Regards, Bd

    :D

    poot=speak

    mak mak=alot

    :o
