If Covid-19 is the outcome of gain of function research, which virus is the progenitor? There isn't any known. I was replying to a ridiculous claim that the virus had been planned in advance and that the mRNA vaccine was also ready in advance. Do you agree with this conspiracy theory? As to the two hypotheses about the origin of the virus, there are facts about both of them. However the most likely scientific explanation is zoonotic (see sources posted before). Of course the man-made virus hypothesis is also possible but less likely.
