USA Washington Warns Allies Against Backing Palestine at UN Summit
candide replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Anyway, due to current events there will be no conference. Potential participants may not be able/willing to travel under such circumstances. -
Good news! It will be interesting to see who will vote against it, and BTW who voted against King's previous attempts!

Blah blah again. A claim has been made which you supported, No proof, no link has been provided. I have linked the source showing it's not true. BTW, as you are ignorant, this is the testimony touted by Comer. The source showing that Trump actually proposed the NG to the DC mayor.

Trump was just served a rather humiliating defeat by China.

From your source: 🙂 "In an effort to pare down the federal workforce, the administration has instituted a hiring freeze that has coincided with the BLS restricting its data collection and expanding a process called imputation, in which it uses models to fill in incomplete data." -
Keep deflecting! 🤣 Again, you are not able to phrase your claims and provide any link!

Taking "most of their land" occured in October/November 2017, so not in 4 weeks. https://www.britannica.com/topic/Islamic-State-in-Iraq-and-the-Levant/ISIS-outside-of-Iraq-and-Syria Trump himself started to declare victory in 2018. Prematurely according to some media. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/ap-fact-check-trump-prematurely-declares-victory-over-islamic-state-group But feel free to show that Trump won against ISIS in 4 weeks! I am eagerly waiting for your links! 🤣

Let's start with an easy one! "Trump and the battle against ISIS: Trump repeated his regular false claim that even though “they said it would take five years to defeat ISIS, we did in four weeks, four weeks.” The so-called ISIS “caliphate” was declared fully liberated more than two years into Trump’s presidency, in 2019, not “in four weeks.” 😆 The proof: https://edition.cnn.com/2019/03/23/middleeast/isis-caliphate-end-intl One more? 🤣

Russia planning ‘to test article 5’, with an attack on Nato
candide replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Putin's problem is a problem of timing. If he wants to invade some Baltic states (that's the obvious strategic target), he has a strategic window corresponding to Trump's mandate. He has no certainty that the next U.S. government will have the same complacency, so the strategic window will likely close at the end of Trump's mandate. Relatedly, European Countries are (akbait too slowly) increasing their military resources, so the more he waits, the higher their ability to counter him. However, because of the war in Ukraine, Russia is too weak and exhausted to finance another war during Trump's mandate. So he may not be able to take this opportunity. -

It was rational from his perspective. Having said that, if he had anticipated correctly the difficulty of conquering Ukraine, he may not have done it.
