  1. Sure. However, in order to change it, one needs to change the Constitution, and in order to change the Constitution one needs the approval of appointed bodies such as the appointed Senate and the appointed Constitutional court, and possibly the appointed Supreme court. None of them being appointed by the elected government. It comes full circle.
  2. Have you read the article? ???? The title is: The Poland “no Muslims no terror” map is seriously misleading
  3. Don't dream. In order to be able to amend the Constitution, he needs the approval of at least one third of senators.
  4. They don't realise anything because in Thailand, an elected government has no power on the Judiciary, and also on the semi-judiciary such as the EC, the NACC, etc... They are completely safe, and on top of it will be rewarded at the end of their mandate by being appointed to another position.
  5. I had a look at Fox News and I was struck by the fact they were quite explicitly showing the main elements of the indictment: the charges, the pictures, Of course, there were always commentators making the usual reflections, but the general tune was "It's a damning indictment, but..." ( choose between the following options: Biden/Ukraine, weaponization, no harm done, etc...)
  6. Before a MAGA posters comes up with this claim... “Recent media reports have generated a large number of queries about Presidential records and the Presidential Records Act (PRA)," the Archives said in the statement. "The PRA requires that all records created by Presidents (and Vice-Presidents) be turned over to the National Archives and Records" Administration (NARA) at the end of their administrations." “There is no history, practice, or provision in law for presidents to take official records with them when they leave office to sort through, such as for a two-year period as described in some reports," the Archives said. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/policy/defense-national-security/donald-trump-national-archives-presidential-records-act
  7. I remember it has been a popular claim among MAGA posters. Right after that, the popular claim was that the FBI seized irrelevant items such as napkins. I found it funny that the FBI had planted napkins.....
  8. That's one of the way Trump uses in order to make a statement when he knows he's lying. Other popular for relations are "people say" or "I've been told".
  9. Some posters will have to eat their hat about it, and other claims too.
  10. The latest front page attributes a quite different face expression to Trump! ???? He has lost his previous Mussolinien expression! ????
  11. Surely not disappointed by the latest news! ????
  12. These documents are Presidential records. Whether classified or not, Trump has no right to keep Presidential records, as per the Presidential Record Act. As I replied to you before, It's not the FBI, It's the NARA which wanted them back. From a link kindly indicated by your pal Riclag: "The classification system is separate from criminal penalties that Congress has imposed to protect security secrets. For example, the Espionage Act of 1917 — one of the three laws cited in the search warrant of Mar-a-Lago in Florida — is designed to protect secrets related to defense information that could harm the U.S. or aid a foreign adversary. It makes no reference to materials’ classification status, and prosecutors in an Espionage Act case do not need to prove that materials were classified but rather that they were “closely held,” and their release could damage national security. The search warrant executed in August at Mar-a-Lago cited as “probable cause” violations of relevant parts of the Presidential Records Act, which does not carry criminal penalties, as well as three provisions of criminal law: a part of the Espionage Act that deals with the mishandling of “national defense information” (18 U.S.C. § 793); a records-related obstruction statute (18 U.S.C. § 1519); and a third that deals with the mishandling of public records (18 U.S.C. § 2071). None of the three criminal statutes deal with classified material per se. Penalties differ. The obstruction-related statute carries the strongest sentence of a fine and a maximum 20 years in jail for each offense." https://abalegalfactcheck.com/articles/declassified.html Capice?
  13. I love the current front page of Fox News website! ???? https://www.foxnews.com/
  14. I also guess that, if DeSantis or Pence are elected, they will surely enjoy the sight on Trump imploring them for a pardon! ????
  15. They will not nessarily defend him, but they will cautiously play the witch hunt card in order to remain GOP compliant.
  16. It's a (not really) private joke among non-Trumpers.
  17. Ahem! "Christians were about 10 percent of Syria's population of 21 million before the war began in 2011. Now, they account for about 5 percent, with fewer than 700,000 left, according to groups that track the persecution of Christians around the world." https://www.nytimes.com/2022/01/23/world/middleeast/syria-christians-idlib.html#:~:text=Christians were about 10 percent,of Christians around the world.
  18. This thread is unusually quiet for such a news. It seems instructions have not been received yet.
