  1. Plenty of things are his fault (at least partly): GDP growth, unemployment decline, increased energy production and exports, industrial revival, infrastructures, better health coverage, medicine price decrease and capping.... There's a long list.
  2. It appears He's not the only one involved in a conflict of interest. "Now, a new story shows that Thomas isn’t the only one who’s been less than forthcoming on his disclosure forms. Politico reports that Justice Neil Gorsuch, nominated by Donald Trump in 2017, sold a massive property he co-owned to the CEO of a law firm that often argues cases before the court." https://news.yahoo.com/supreme-court-ethics-scandal-just-151500875.html
  3. Another "are you sure"? https://cdn.factcheck.org/UploadedFiles/Johnson_TrumpEpstein_Lawsuit.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwj_15fomsf-AhV9UaQEHTl4DMUQFnoECBwQAQ&usg=AOvVaw2A-P0GCUETmFTOtiarupfU
  4. Unfortunately, it seems it may not be appropriate to use F16 in Ukraine How Russia could spot Ukrainian F-16s before they even got off the ground, according to an air-warfare expert https://www.businessinsider.com/russia-may-spot-ukrainian-bases-preparing-for-f16s-expert-says-2023-4?r=US&IR=T
  5. You may be right, and we are still not in 2024 anyway. However, if I remember well, DeSantis was not scoring better than Trump against Biden in polls. I will check it later when I have more time.
  6. Interestingly enough, while the aggregation of polls give similar preference for Biden and Trump (43% vs 42.9%), numbers are quite different for the electoral college. https://www.racetothewh.com/president/polls?utm_content=cmp-true
  7. Really? "Still, Biden remains more popular than Trump: 38% of adults have a positive view of the current president, versus 48% with a negative view (-10). That’s compared with Trump’s 34% positive, 53% negative rating (-19)." https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/2024-election/nbc-news-poll-nearly-70-gop-voters-stand-trump-indictment-investigatio-rcna80917
  8. Fired for secretly denigrating Trump! They want to control not only what reporters publicly say, but also what they think! That's scary! "That's the last four years. We're all pretending we've got a lot to show for it, because admitting what a disaster it's been is too tough to digest. But come on. There isn't really an upside to Trump." https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-64886188
  9. Provided the poll is reliable, I would assume the dominant answer is motivated by the fact that Russia is not winning this war, rather than by altruistic considerations.
  10. They must be very frustrated. 5 years of investigation by a Trump appointee, who had acess to all information, including bank transfers and Hunter's laptop content. It finally comes up with peanuts, such as late tax filling or buying a gun.
  11. In a previous post I mentioned mechanisms build in the constitution which may be used to oust a legally elected government without the need for a military coup. Here's a reminder of one of them. The mechanism is described in the first article: it involves the appointed Senate, the constitutional court, the NACC, and the supreme court, all controlled by the yellow-green network. "For the next 20 years, public administrations will be directed largely by the national strategy put forward by the National Council for Peace and Order. Governments failing to comply with the plan will face impeachment." https://www.nationthailand.com/in-focus/30357272 “Generally, it is all right if we have a long-term plan with no punishment for governments that do not follow the strategy, but the 20-year national strategy has imposed a penalty which could lead to an impeachment of the next election governments,” said Pipat https://www.nationthailand.com/in-focus/30355356
  12. Prayut was only impersonating the power of the network which put him and Prawit into power. If Prayut goes, it does not mean this network will lose power and influence, as it includes most appointed people who have a direct or indirect influence on politics: the Senate, the Judiciary, the agencies such as the NACC or the EC, high-level civil servants, etc...
  13. Ukrainian troops have established a bridgehead on the east bank of the Dnipro river, implying Russia's defensive positions are weakening, report says https://news.yahoo.com/ukrainian-troops-established-bridgehead-east-131645210.html
  14. Well, it did happen in one way or another, but only to red side or pro-democracy politicians. Not to the yellow-green side which controls the judiciary and semi-judiciary.
  15. You mean this post? Quote: "Trump was encouraging other Countries to pay towards funding NATO"
  16. So GOP politicians such as DeSantis, Abott or Jordan were lying? Incredible! ????
  17. As usual, Trumps statement is misleading. The military budget of each country is not "funding NATO". It's not like a cotisation that other members have to pay if some members don't pay enough. Each country spends for its own defence objectives, with a minimal coordination with NATO. It also doesn't address the core problem. Of course, it is better If members spend more, we all agree on it, but It's not the key issue. The key issue is how spendings are coordinated to optimise the efficiency of NATO as a whole. The total amount spent by European NATO members is far from being ridiculous, and is much higher than say, Russia. However, it is not optimised to avoid duplicated spending etc... For example, if Spain would increase its budget to buy tanks, and there would be already enough tanks in other countries, this budget increase would be useless. Edit. The 2022 total defense budget of European NATO countries is around $300 billion, in the same order of magnitude as China, and around 4 times Russia's defense budget.
  18. Good news! I hope we will soon know about what Hunter is precisely charged (and not charged) with. There have been so many baseless rumours...
  19. And according to the authors, it is due to sea ice drift velocity, which was lower than expected.
  20. On this webpage you have the names of U.S. companies with significant activity related to China. Most of them make business with companies controlled by the CUP. There's nothing illegal or even suspect about transacting with CCP-controlled companies. Ex 3M Company A.O. Smith Corporation ABB Inc. Abbott Laboratories Accenture Adobe Systems Incorporated Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. Agilent Technologies, Inc. AIG Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. Airbnb, Inc. Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP Albright Stonebridge Group Alcoa Inc. All In Consulting Allen & Overy LLP Allison Transmission Holdings, Inc. Alphabet Inc.
