Prepare for continuous whining from Trump, blaming the deep state, etc.. as well as lame excuses from MAGA rubes such as "they did not let him apply his program" B.S. 😆 -
Congress Forced the Sale of Excess Parts In selling the leftover parts of the southern border wall, the Biden administration was complying with legislation introduced by Rep. Mike Rogers, a Republican from Alabama, and signed into law Dec. 22, 2023. Section 2890 of the law, known as the National Defense Authorization Act, compelled the DOD to submit a plan "to use, transfer, or donate" all "excess construction materials on southwest border" no later than 75 days after the enactment of the law, and to start executing the plan no later than 100 days after submitting the plan, "until the date on which the Department of Defense is no longer incurring any costs to maintain, store, or protect the covered materials." https://www.yahoo.com/news/fact-check-biden-selling-off-203500923.html

Oh the hypocrisy.... As we will see, the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) had indeed been selling leftover border wall materials. However, the sale began in June 2024, months before Trump was elected. Not only was the move legal, it was required by legislation introduced by a Republican lawmaker and enacted in December 2023. https://www.yahoo.com/news/fact-check-biden-selling-off-203500923.html

Talking about teleprompters (in case it was really because of a faulty teleprompter). "Our Army manned the air, it rammed the ramparts, it took over the airports, it did everything it had to do, and at Fort McHenry, under the rocket's red glare it had nothing but victory." 😆 https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/trump-blames-teleprompter-revolutionary-war-airports-flub-n1026931 -
The Scientists and Spies Who Questioned Covid’s Origins
candide replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Actually, talking about lab-leaked is obscuring the real issue, which is natural evolution.ution vs created by researchers. - natural evolution, whether from the Wuhan market or leaked from the samples collected by the lab. It seems to be currently the dominant scientific explanation. - created by researchers in a lab (then leaked). This is currently not the dominant scientific explanation. -
The topic is the WHO and I keep focused on it. Sorry if I don't follow you on every digression you are addressing. And sorry if I stick to facts. I can understand it's may be kind of boring g for you. You keep making baseless claims about the WHO, and when proven wrong you start splitting hairs. Like you just did. When you make claims on this forum, it's your duty to back up these claims, and not me to waste my time disproving each and every of your claims. I have provided the list of experts, and they appear to be quite qualified and experienced. If you want to challenge their qualification, prove it. It's not my job to disprove any baseless speculation you may come up with.

The Scientists and Spies Who Questioned Covid’s Origins

Thanks for this usefull timeline. Two remarks: - It provides insights on politicians' statements or institutional positions, but actually few scientific substance (ok, that was not the aim), - a reminder that the lab-leaked theory is not restricted to the artificially created virus option. Quote from the article "The theory’s adherents usually believe the coronavirus either evolved in nature and was being studied at a lab in Wuhan before it accidentally leaked out, or was artificially created by researchers before it escaped—though the latter theory has been heavily contested by many experts. -

Too long to reply to all your comments at the same time, so let's start with the most simple one. You are again showing your ignorance of the WHO despite making definitive judgments about it. You just need to look at its website. https://www.who.int/groups/covid-19-ihr-emergency-committee https://www.who.int/groups/covid-19-infection-prevention-and-control-guidance-development-group https://www.who.int/about/governance/executive-board (the positions are rotated at the board, so it may not be the same persons as in 2020/21).

Not much, it seems.... "Five years ago, China expressed hopes for increased collaboration with the Nordic states in the Arctic. Chinese investments in Nordic mineral resources are still minimal, however, and none of the ambitious infrastructure projects discussed have come to fruition. The backlash against China in recent years has undoubtedly hindered its investment prospects in the region." https://kinacentrum.se/en/publications/the-recent-backlash-against-china-in-the-nordic-arctic-prospects-for-future-chinese-engagement-in-the-region/ China failed its Arctic ambitions in Greenland It appears both the West and Beijing itself have grossly overestimated Chinese expansion in Greenland. https://www.politico.eu/article/china-arctic-greenland-united-states/

Complete B.S., as usual! 😆 United Nations General Assembly Resolution ES‑11/1 is a resolution of the eleventh emergency special session of the United Nations General Assembly, adopted on 2 March 2022.
