    4 years old is still a baby in terms of reliability, barely out of warranty. There are 12 - 20 year old Toyotas and isuzus still running around pretty reliably. Have a 10 year old Isuzu with 200k ,few issues, nothing major. But crucially always serviced regularly at main dealer. Don't buy 4 wheel drive unless absolutely necessary. Worse fuel consumption and ride and another thing to go wrong.

    JD Power puts German prestige cars quite low on their reliability ratings. Toyota,honda ,lexus , Hyundai are at the top unsurprisingly. 100k is no feat in terms of reliability. Daughters 10 year old Yaris in UK has only ever needed 3 windscreen wipers and frankly looks set for another 10 years without much issue..

    Have you seen the results of communism and socialism as an alternative? Capitalism has lifted hundreds of millions out of poverty . Suggest you read some basic economics to better inform your opinions...as well as the ” greengrocer's apostrophe ”.

    Trains are inherently costlier than air, especially over longer distances. National railways are very often subsidised too. A railway needs not only a station at each end but the expensive infrastructure and maintenance all along the journey. A plane just needs somewhere to take off and somewhere to land , nothing in-between.

    Korat is a pretty hot place in Thailand often with little breeze,it's going to get hotter still over next few months. Yes an inverter Aircon unit is the way to go. From experience and others recommendations start with mitsubishi brand. Daikin also is highly rated.

    That's a good pump but very expensive,I think cos it has an inverter. We bought the model down XS, without inverter and 350 W so nearly as powerful. It's half that price. We water the garden extensively through a few outlets and it's plenty powerful for that. Superior to Mitsubishi in my opinion and still reasonable price

    Had that system in my house in UK that I inherited. Eventually just found it oppressive and deafening on occasion when the idiots turn up the volume on action movie sounds effects and music such that other members of the family in other rooms complained. You're in a domestic situation not a cinema.
