    Backpackers still spend money to a certain level, a hostel bed can cost up to a 1000b per night, families are spending up to 8000b per night on pool villas... you are slightly out of touch with todays tourism. 20yrs ago, it was fan only bungalows and call home once a month, now its aircon everywhere, flat screen TV's and WiFi.
