  2. Dr Wayne Dyer had a number of psychology books Let's face it many farangs have a victim mentality, because of various reasons Some are apologists etc

  4. If you read the book "Pulling your own strings" by Dr Wayne Dyer he describes victim mentality as different Eg he describes, someone approaches you in the street to sell something, you apologise or you stand there and listen ,that's a victim he says A non victim walks away Great book

  6. Reading some great books last month on psychology by Dr Wayne Dyer I was sitting at a Thai food place today , a older gentleman sitting at the next table. They bring him his food ,he takes a bite and says to the waitress this is not pork She responded, No have ,mai mee He looked at me " this is Thailand, they don't have it they bring something else ,I can't eat it I looked at him "well ask for something else and stop becoming a victim ! Next story involved me I ordered a BOLT car to my favourite bookshop The fare was like 79b A taxi pulls up ,he said I'm your bolt I get in and he tries to make me his victim I only get 47b from this ride ,I need to charge you more money I said ,I'm not your victim , it's not my responsibility to pay you more it's Bolt's ,next time don't accept the job ! And many farangs are victims "You tip me ok said the waitress to me at the now defunct Jomtien fish n chip shop You tip me Darling I said I'm not your victim !!
  7. Yes it seems every restaurant is on the fish and chips now I thought going to a specialist place would be better but it may make no difference

  11. I didn't think I could compare it It's much smaller Far more Korean men. Much more ...how do I describe it...not as clean Constant beeping of horns ..I have no idea why Filipinos have a thing for blowing their horns
  12. It's only 8am and I feel like fish n chips today May I ask is there any place that sells the potato scallops? Similar to the Aussie type I went to a wonderful place yesterday called Tinnies pies that sold wonderful pies but the impeccable service and cleanliness of the place was what I describe in my wonderful words of wisdom as .... beautiful. But I'm after a genuine if I may use that word...in fact the word "specialist" ....or maybe another word to describe a place who only sells fish n chips I did see Sharples in Jomtien yesterday,it didn't appear to have any customers Many if you recall in your fine years far far long ago we had Simon's , we had the Jolly ..Roger ? Fryer? What happened to the British fish and chip shop?

  16. For a start that Foodland at Jomtien is far more expensive than ALDI Deodorant, Axe 129 baht compared to Australia 80 baht , other things vitamins ,cheese ,sliced ham ,tuna cans are $1 -40b in Australia all more expensive in Thailand Milk, bread, coffees same price as Australia I don't want to get off topic here but some food prices are cheaper in Australia, maybe it's just the location being Jomtien
  17. Strange that the UK recognises Philippines for UK pensioners but not Thailand and I doubt they will change that ,too much $$$ to lose As for Philippines I was just listening to a pommy guy in YouTube channel Speaking of Asia who lived in Thailand and now lives in Philippines because of the pension situation. He says supermarket is more expensive in the Philippines than Thailand !! But....Look to tell you the truth I have found some of the supermarket prices here in Thailand more expensive than ALDI in Australia!

I actually went out to the 711 one morning at 3am and about to cross the road when I seen a guy in a convertible no roof on beep his horny continually , not a single other car around ...but they are programmed in their mind to constantly...beep ! So as I was walking across the road I stopped and told him. There's no other cars around why are you bloody beeping your horn? You stupid C
