Has anyone taken the Thai language test recently when applying for PR?
If you have, could you let me know whether the test was oral, written or both; what type of questions were asked; how long did the test take; level of Thai needed, etc.
Thank you.

Hi Steve
You need to click the "chevrons" on the left hand side of the forum names. This will expand the forums by one level. You can click all the chevrons and explore the forum layout to find the sub-forum that you need.

As discussed, the green book will have a page something like the picture below. The date the tax payments are made are on the left.
If you paid tax in the past you would have received a tax paper/tag which you have to display on your vehicle. Did you not get a new tax paper/tag each year?
If the green book is lost then go get a replacement. The replacement book will state the payment record.
How much tax were you paying per year? The picture below is for a PCX150.

Thanks for this info. I wasn't aware of that. So I have a YHB for a property I own (condo), and if I was to move to a property I don't own I can update my YHB to the new address?
Only with the permission of the housemaster (The first person entered in the blue book). If nobody is entered in the blue book then the permission of the property owner is required.

This topic is about whether schools in Pattaya require students to wear masks. This topic is not about questioning the OP about the correctness or incorrectness of any action they may or may not take.

This will ensure that you are able to obtain a valid condominium unit title deed and enjoy the legal protections and rights associated with condominium ownership.
Ownership status of the land a registered condominium is built on is some of the most undisputable land possible.
This is because to obtain the condominium title deeds the developer must surrender the NS4 land title deeds to the land registry.
This makes the sale of the land impossible unless all co-owners agree to dissolve the condominium juristic person.
Steve, this particular sub-forum is a factual forum where accuracy is important due to the subject matter. This is the second time in one topic that I have had to step in. If you are unsure please clarify before posting. Thanks.

Condominium units cannot be built on leased land. The land must be unencumbered NS4 chanote, otherwise the condominium unit title deeds cannot be issued.
There is no need to set up a structure to comply with Thai law. In most instances non-Thai citizens can purchase a condominium unit freehold and be listed as the owner.

Last month I was in India and aseasnow.com was blocking my IP address.
This is because AN used to get constantly hit by spammers using Indian IP addresses, whilst getting almost zero legitimate users from India.

I hope so, my wife will go to the Amphur today and see what they require (as TiT)
On the initial application, I needed 3 witnesses and took 2 days. 1st day from 10:00 - 16:00, 2nd day 13:00-15:00.
I understand. I hope you will be pleasantly surprised.

I'm really sorry, but you are the only person using the site that has this issue. We have had no other reports at all.
The site scripting hasn't changed in some time, so we would have expected to hear of more issues from other users by now.

Thx. That is our backup plan, but I hope I can do that before my extension runs out, my bad of course that I didn't go earlier to immigration and asked ????
Edit: But even during the many years of going the marriage extension route, they never ever asked about my YHB, I always took it with me, but NEVER needed, they were more interested in the House Book and ID card of the wife (which I also need to bring (forgot to mention) when going to Immigration)
I've never heard of it either, especially as getting a yellow book in some provinces seems very difficult.
That being said it's often easier just to give them the documents they want.
You should be able to get this sorted at the first visit to the District Office. The time consuming bit is getting the initial ID number. Swapping the number between books is quick.

Once you have a yellow book it is very straightforward to change your registration to a new address.
Just take your passport, your old yellow book, your wife, her ID card and the new blue book to your District Office.

Thanks for the update - it looks like I'll have to get there early and queue then.
If the queue is long then it will go right past the pub bar.

No, they will take your case seriously and charge their fees in advance. Depending on your choice of legal strategy you will be charged tens or hundreds of thousands of baht.
If the case can be proved and you get a judgement in your favour, remember that if the debtor has no fixed income or assets then you will still not receive any money.
