What is the model/year?... Any good pics?... all i've seen is a closeup one with the King & Queen riding in the back - not much of the whole car.

Really a 800x480 does make me far less interested.. a 1280x720p makes it very appealing.. Price would not be the big driver then for me.
Such a large screen would raise the price of this machine considerably...
If price is not a problem for you try the Vaio TZ... The screen is excellent - a jewel of a machine

What if you are a US citizen and do not want to affiliate with a specific state (for tax reasons )... Where do you send it?

From what I have read the "Laser Whitening" technic is a bit of a Hi-Tech Gimmic... The same bleaching compound is used as the traditional method... They try to convince you that the magic laser will speed up or activate the process giving you a better result than the traditional bleaching compound - oh by the way the laser is extra baht studies show no increase in whiteness from the laser - on the contrary... they have cases where the laser has increased the sensitivity of your teeth (a common side effect of tooth bleaching)... Just get the regular bleaching and save a few baht

I googles "Duh" and no references to "Western People" or "farang" came up. I'll try a more sophisticated search engine and get back to you. Thanks.
Keep trying George... the googles does not cover all the internets...

I am curious about the XP light versions you mention. Google only gives me articles written back in '04 about development for Thailand.
Thanks!
Sorry its called WinFLP... http://www.microsoft.com/licensing/sa/bene...ndamentals.mspx
Here is the just released 1/8GB version http://www.dynamism.com/eee-pc/specs.shtml
Again no 10" screen... it is still a myth....

Not a fake... What you saw was the "surf" model... Slightly cheaper but no cam and more importantly the 512K Ram is soldered in and can not be upgraded... I bought the regular one and swapped out the 512K for a 2 GB... installed the light version of XP and Excel, Word, Skype, and Firefox... it took about 2gb of the 4 :>>> boots in 20 seconds!... sweet... I have not found the XP driver for the cam... The wifi, built in mic and speakers make skype works sweet!!!!... This is the perfect machine to throw in your backpack for kicking around Europe...
The 10" screen is a myth.... they have a regular laptop that will fill that spot... for about $900...
Here is the four models/colors available so far: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList....amp;x=0&y=0
PS - I have the pearl white one and the ladies and Starbucks keep coming up to me and ask about it

Do people think the OPD benefit is worth the extra ~10,000 baht premium?
And is the Repatriation benefit of USD 1,000,000 correct? or should that be baht?

It might be due to the short duration of your visit... You land in a daze that takes a day or two to wear off... Then you have to run around everywhere - visit friends, family and such - all the time stuffing yourself with wonderful Thai food (after a big meal we are not inclined to be too horny - more like a beached whale) Party here.. sight see there, shop there... In the 8 days there was there any relaxation?... or was it a whirlwind vacation? I think sex starts a few hours before and builds to the messy finish... I would bet you did not have time for the juices to build up... next time plan a day or two away from everything for just the two of you... a lazy secluded place...

Sounds like you have had quite the epiphany... No longer a passive victim... Careful.. you have move into the realm of an active victim

Every Bank has hidden fees... Hence the horror stories... You just need to know when they will be assessed...
I am with Gary A as a happy Citibank user and you can get it FREE of any monthly fees if you do one little trick... I have the Ultimate Money Market and EZ Checking combo which is free on monthly fees if you make two online payments - here is where the trick comes in... I set up two separate automatic $5.00 payments to my US credit card (Capital One 8.99%)
The Capital One is used to buy all plane tickets and to pay for hotels - I find it cheaper to book hotels for a weekend getaway to Hua Hin online than to try and book locally!
I have Fidelity brokerage account that has free online transfers to the Citibank account, free American Express Gold card (New accounts no linger get this perk) and has a ATM card that is free from all ATM fees and gives me an excellent exchange rate that I use for emergency ATM withdrawals on occasion.

I prefer Apple's Airport Express... You can also hook your printer up to it to wirelessly print and it is small enough to throw into your suitcase and plug into a hotels old wired internet systems. when traveling. The only drawback I find is that it has no extra wired router slots... For that get the Airport extreme model

Seems logical... I would say it has something to do with the acidity in the fruit... I would prefer to smash the strawberries and apply them to some cheesecake before applying them to my teeth

I would assume that only the codes that TV uses for their own emoticon will work in TV... There is no standard across platforms... If you are pasting a code that the TV interface is not familiar with it has no image in its library to replace the code with... :>>>>

What adds to the scariness is the Thai custom of removing ones shoes at the door and running around the house in one bare feet...

They could cut the rate in half by not allowing Farangs to but condos above the 2nd floor...

One thing my partner and i do is date night... most every Tuesday we take turns planning a date... could be a restaurant we have never done before, a classic DVD and pizza and ice cream, or my favorite nights was street food near the moat... sitting on plastic buckets my partner scurrying from vendor to vendor to get the meal... and it poring down rain... 555... we get home smelly and soaked - and jump into the shower - together!...
And next time he says "want to go upstairs"... Say no... let's try the sala...

I don't think you need to look into group sex...
I agree you should work at being true friends and also work at making your days together not so routine... plan a romantic place outside your normal haunts... have you ever been to this hotel?...

Book yourself in for a weekend... Get the room with the pillared canopy bed... bring candles.., and wine...

His targets were "lazy security guards"...
As serial killers go he will go down in history as the "laziest serial killer" seeing how his victims are the easiest victims to knockoff!!!

BEIJING - China's space program has defended a photo of the moon's surface taken by its lunar probe as authentic, dismissing critics who suggested it had been copied from a similar image captured by a U.S. orbiter.
China last week presented the first picture taken by its Chang'e 1 lunar probe at a gala ceremony attended by Premier Wen Jiabao, part of the ruling Communist Party's program of using the space program to instill national pride.
However, critics posting on Chinese-language Internet sites questioned the image's authenticity, saying it was all but identical to a photo captured by a U.S. lunar orbiter two years ago.
Commentators questioned how the Chinese image were of the exact same spot on the moon, given its size.
Lunar program chief scientist Ouyang Ziyuan insisted the Chinese image was real.
"Because China and the United States took the images in the same region, it's natural the two pictures look alike," Ouyang said in remarks carried Monday by the Xinhua News Agency and other state media outlets. "But through careful observation you will see there are some nuances," Ouyang said.
