Household debt rose to an average of 559,408 baht this year
Depends if that includes mortgage debt. If it does then it's not a big figure. One years average salary?

Car fire: Luxury vehicle bursts into flames on Bhumibol Bridge, family escapes unharmed
Looks like that was a very smart move. An EV caught fire on a ferry yesterday in the North Sea. The ferry was carrying 3000 cars (ony 25 EVs). Looks like all the cars and probably the ferry will be destroyed, plus sadly one death and several injuries. Insurance cost of that @ $100 million? The insurance industry will probably ban them all.

Condo Rental- security deposit etc

Thailand’s household-debt storm taking deadly toll on guarantors
Yes agreed. As a guarantor is the debt secured against your property? If the guarantor doesn't pay up what can the company do? Any Court action would be better than death.

Car fire: Luxury vehicle bursts into flames on Bhumibol Bridge, family escapes unharmed
The Norwegian Ferry Company Havila Kystruten has recently banned all EVs coming aboard their ferries because of the risk of fire. And that's in a country with a very high percentage of EVs on the road.

What he really means is that democracy in Thailand should be sacrified to keep the military in power.

Bank Savings Interest Rates
Those Krungsri rates are a bit pathetic, to tie money up for 2 years. I get 4.27% on a basic easy access account in the UK so it's not worth moving the money here.

The Smart Bus is great, even paying the 100 baht. Shame all airports don't have something similar (cough U-tapao).

There will be no Democrat or United Thai Nation party in Srettha’s coalition
Just PT, plus BJT and PPP gives them 252 seats in the lower house. Enough to form a majority Government without Move Forward,

Thai Banks are Starting to Require Facial Recognition for High-Value Transactions
The problem with Bangkok Bank is that the phone app requires you to set the daily limit for transfers in ranges starting at 50,000. So any transfers fall into this category and need a visit to the bank to set up.
