Reminds of a story i heard, not sure if it's true. A guy used to hire a lady of the night and when he went to bed left a fake gold necklace around his condo. Often when he woke up the lady and necklace were both gone. Luckily the fake necklace cost far less than he would have paid the lady.
China not looting ha ha. So taking the whole of the South China Sea by force (including that belonging to other countries) is not looting? Even the colonial powers didn't take the world's seas.
Can't say about Bangkok but here in Pattaya i doubt prices have gone up at all. I bought in 2006 and if i sold now would be lucky to get the same, 17 years later. Prices in the condo next door have gone down !!
Usually you would pay the list price plus @ 3000 to get it on the road. A couple of years back i got a small discount on my tgf's Honda Click 150i but lately i had to pay a 2000 premium for my Honda Click 160.
I wasn't there either but i often see tourists just walk out into the road and expect any car to stop for them. Not speculating on who was at fault but accidents like this can easily happen.
Don't dealers do this all the time. They register new cars, probably to get their sales figure up, then sell it as new at a later date. Usually in the UK though you would expect a big discount for a pre-reg car.
Half way down Thepprasit the road changes from being one way on the left to two way on the left, with no signs or markings of the change. You are suddenly faced with cars coming straight at you !! I am surprised there hasn't been many more accidents, especially at night.
