    I imported a car from the States into the UK and drove on the "wrong side" for 5 years. You get used to it.

    This should be the standard reply to any of the hundreds of "cost of living" posts. The only caveat is does that include rent? I presume it does. If you own your condo knock off $3,4,500.

    Same with me. I never use Aliexpress except for small items phone cases etc so if they don't show up no problem. Also prefer not to have to pay up front, especially using a credit card. Also if you had to return an item how easy would that be to China? With Lazada in Thailand easy to do and track. Having said that the things i have ordered all turned up OK, albeit after a long time.

    It's OK with a single rider but two up the front steering seems to go light and needs constant adjustment.

    I've got the Click 160 ABS. Has anyone changed the rear shock for say a YSS or OKD? Does it make a difference? What shock did you put on, i see they cost from 2400 to 4000 baht.

    I just stayed in a hotel in Phuket. They only gave you one key, like the one above, so when you went out the electricity was off.

    I doubt any Party (or even coalition) will get the required 376 seats. All Prayut (and pals) need is 126 seats. Yes he will take it all.

    Can you really drive fast enough in Thailand to enjoy a car like this? The roads are crowded and not in a very good condition plus i would be nervous driving a 4 million baht car amongst the crazy somchais and motorbikers. But if money is no object go for it. I had a friend here in Pattaya who lived in a small condo, not a nice block, but spent 4 M on a Mercedes to look "cool". Twisted sense of priorities in my view.

    In the past i had to ask my insurance company several times if bikes over 125cc were covered. Eventually they confirmed they were not. Many people probably think their Aerox and PCX 150s are covered, until they try to claim.

    They should do what the US Army did in WW2, attach a metal rod to the front of your bike to cut any low hanging wires.

    You could easily solve by requesting a payment up front equivalent to the expected treatment cost. But that is too simple for our Marxist NHS to comprehend.

    If you get cancer in your 60s/70s you are probably a gonner anyway, despite what insurance/money you have. Ask Steve Jobs. And don't think the NHS is a miracle cure, at best you might get a few years while you go through chemo, which would ruin your life anyway. Live your life as you want and accept it's over when the Grim Reaper comes calling.

    From your description i think your friend should stick to dating LBs on ST/LT. I doubt any young attractive LB would want to settle down and take care of him long term.
