Here in Pattaya they have just spent months, and goodness knows how many baht, painting red lines and yellow boxes all over the roads. A complete waste of time and money as they totally ignored by all the road users. Even outside Pattaya Court House cars park on red zones, on the pavements etc and absolutely nothing is done.

Yes i am looking to buy a second hand motorbike and there seems to be very few for sale on bahtsold, which is amazing considering the thousands that are on the road. I looked at Kaidee but most seemed to be in Bangkok which would be impossible to view, (I am in Pattaya) and then transfer the plates to Chon Buri. There a couple of m/c dealers in Pattaya but again most of their bikes are Bangkok registered which i guess are repossessed bikes sold at auction.

What's the problem going to immigration? If you don't go after a holiday you will be in and out in an hour. You want to throw away thousands of baht on an agent?

Just saw the Honda ADV 160 launch in Indonesia, looks very nice. Prices are low there 85-95,000 baht. Guess it will be more here. Any one know when it might come to Thailand. I will definitely order one. Now has a rear disc brake, better instrument panel and a little more power. A lower seat as well which is great for us vertically challenged riders.

I am thinking of buying a second hand bike which has a Bangkok registered number plate. The seller and I live in Pattaya (Chon Buri). Are there any issues in reregistering the bike in my name in another province?
