  1. You can not be deported if denied entry! You clearly do not understand deportation and denied entry are totally different.
  2. If you are denied entry you will not go to IDC, because as you well know, that is inside the country! You will spend your time in the holding cells at the airport.
  3. Oh so wrong! The OP is on an extension of stay and both that and the work permit need to be cancelled correctly before leaving, and trying to re-enter the country. Failure to do so can lead to huge problems and overstay fines should the OP ever want to work here again or apply for any other long term extension.
  4. Bar stool myth! You have to be able to provide your passport within a reasonable time.
  5. You forgot to mention that you have to prove that 800k came from abroad.
  6. This is NOT a criteria at all !! That is a bar-stool myth There is a list of occupations that are closed to foreigners All work requires a work permit and relevant visa/extension (I understand that nomads are just under the radar)
  7. Your agent presumably just wants to make more work (money) for themselves What you mention about not leaving the country is perfectly normal and done all the time
  8. You can not change class of any Non-Imm visa to any other type of Non-imm visa Luckily the OP is talking about extensions of stay
  9. Absolute bonk! The OP is on an extension of stay based on employment and can easily change that to an extension based on retirement Get a letter from your employer stating your last day of employment(this can be pre-dated) Cancel work permit at Labour Got to immigration and cancel extension of stay based on employment (again this can be do in advance) Get your ducks in a row Go back to immigration prior to your last day and apply for an extension based on retirement Done and dusted
  10. No legal requirement either

  12. Copy of documents proving relationship, such as a marriage certificate, a birth certificate, registration of child legitimization, household registration certificate, child adoption registration certificate, or other evidence from the government or relevant agency https://www.immigration.go.th/en/?p=14714#604c3aeba1b968fad
  13. The one proviso for whichever account is that you have instant access, albeit with loss of interest
  14. "The application can be submitted on the date 16 October, 2023 – 29 December, 2023 during office hours." Open soon, not now ????
  15. Guessing the op is not married to the mother and now as the child is 5, immigration want to see paperwork to the effect that he is the legal father, (name on birth cert is not the same). As the child is 5 you should be able to go to your local amphur and have the child certify that you are their father and that piece of paper should suffice for immigration.
  16. Truth has NOTHING to do with the defamation laws here. If this guy's actions potentially cost the taxi driver money/earnings, that is defamation
  17. If you went and applied for a multi-entry NonB outside Thailand, you will get grilled as to why you did not extend, also, not aware of any local embassies/consulates that would issue you a multi anyway.
  18. And they are happy to pay you the 50k a month minimum salary too ?
  19. That is only a very few offices, (jomtien is one I believe), otherwise it only has to be in your account on the day you apply
  20. You too, instead of posting incorrect/incomplete info and asking for information that has no bearing on the correct advice ????
  21. Apart from these 416 "A quick search reveals 416 colleges and 673,000 students in the Thai vocational system."
  22. Or local salary and associated tax payments
  23. Because that is NONE of your business!
