  1. Depends on location In Ban Chang only 100 Baht paid but recently 220 on one occasion in Pattaya Go Go
  2. Years ago I had an issue where the IO only stamped me in for 11 days. God knows why but fortunately I looked at the passport whilst waiting for bags. Straight back to desk and he corrected it Ever since as I walk away from IO desk I check that stamp religiously every time
  3. Yep so easy with True. I normally do twice yearly 180 day top ups for 12 baht or thereabouts
  4. The maths are simple. 503 Euros wasnt the amount sent
  5. For 3 years during Covid balance was around 500 give or take in my SCB account to allow for Debit Card annual fee. Twice a year used there mobile top up facility
  6. Those referring to the "higher" fees of Wise are oblivious to the fact Wise goes at full interbank rate Doesn't matter what the fees are its the all important bottom line that actually lands in your account Wise will give that better bottom line
  7. More than a few mentioning exchange rates but that (relatively) poor rate compared to the past is down to the Pound collapsing against the USD in June 2016 on that utterly catastrophic Brexit vote Opposite side of the pairings Dollar/Baht has the Baht the weakest since October last year and rapidly approaching 37 currently
  8. If it kicks off big style the distruption will be catastrophic as other countries back one side or the other I've just booked a flight which normally overflys the region albeit some months in advance
  9. I've always found Suvarnabhumbi very easy to navigate and use. Despite seeing long queues occasional at immigration arriving cant ever remember being in the queues longer than 20 minutes Plenty of food outlets airside and landside
  10. Dear oh dear utterly....am lost for words ! Referendum won on a pack of lies from the Grifters Johnson Mogg and Co to further enhance their bank balances If the Ref. was re run tomorrow of those that would vote you'd see 90% want an immediate return and only 10% to remain in this catastrophic situation we are currently in Of course unfortunately it will mean adopting the Euro as that was made quite clear when we left but thats a small price to pay
  11. lol the endemic corruption we''ve seen from the Tories for over 14 years is going to be exposed brutally The likes of the Johnson Gove Patel et all need to be very very afraid of when Reeves takes her seat on the front bench post General Election We are at the highest level of taxation for 70 years under your wonderful Tories "undo a lot of the good work" Rock on fella with your delusion
  12. I know (as a Brit) that we can buy coverage when already travelling but I found it was very expensive to say the least when I did a dummy quote I suspect partially because of the high chance of fraud over a claim Inotherwards people say "Ohh I wish I taken out insurance" when they've just been robbed etc etc
  13. People the world over freezing their plumbs off living in cold doorways yet we have people moaning its too hot Thailand should introduce immediate legislation that orders the Weather to be 40c all year round...no night time cooling Uber riff raff
  14. Not trying to wind OP up whatsoever but I've never found Thailand that hot. Of course compared to most home countries it is but not remotely at the levels of Dubai Kuwait etc etc Just stay out of the sun between 11am and 3pm if you find it too hot Me I love it the hotter the better
  15. Time to go home then. "Swimming pool to hot to swim in" Ludicrous
  16. Googled it after you wrote that and you are absolutely right I'm startled to say the least. I must go in there it didnt look huge from the outside but I was more looking at the "cruiser" shape of it
  17. ...and the largest one is (apprently) in Pattaya on South Pattaya Rd shaped like a Cruiser from the outside Caveat lol only what someone on a Ban Chang beer crawl confidently announced as we went past it last month !
  18. More likely dwarves and midgets
  19. Never used to call it Diarrhea as a youngster. Mother always told to us to shout Clinkers if an evacuation was imminent Maths lessons at School naturally produced Clinkers daily on an epic scale.
  20. Well the one I purchased before travelling on Singapore this January was an Eticket from onwardticketing with PNR code etc and the payment of $16 was on my Chase bank account The fact that Singapore at Heathrow was self check in meant it was totally superfluous as there was no one there to even check it (if asked) ! Or for that matter my Evisa as I was on one way ticket (hence onwardticketing) !
  21. Definate trendsetter lol
