On Lazada tracking you get a message about your item being in outgoing customs clearance in China which takes 5-7 days. It does seem that getting things from China is better now. I had several items canceled over the last year or so.
Also I have ordered a few things that said they were from Bangkok but when you see the tracking it is coming from China.
A Thai friend told me yesterday that a new law was passed effective from the 1st that if you have security cameras you have to put a sign up letting people know about them. I'm not sure if it is true or not.
I've tried some a few times. They don't taste bad but they don't taste good either. Kind of an earthy taste. Some of them like crickets and such leave hard little pieces in your mouth. I could definitely eat them if I was starving.
I think here the financial part of the sentence is seen as more justice than the prison time. In my observations the families of the victims only care about what they will get from it not what happens to the person afterwards.
A niece and her daughter of ours died in a car accident. The only thing her father talked about during the funeral was how much money he thought he was going to get from the insurance company.

He may have been drunk or had some other medical problem.

Underground lottery is only for 2 or 3 numbers also.
I had a few times where I got more change than I should have.
Also places like Homepro, Powerbuy and probably others you can sometimes get better prices buying online than in store with free delivery.
I give a fair amount of money away. But I don't usually give to those asking for it. But like when I see an elderly person pusing a big cart down the road looking for bottles and such I will stop and give them some money. Most of them thank me. I have had a couple of people that didn't want to take my money. Lots of them will give you a blessing after you give them money. But as mentioned earlier some of the mentally unstable ones are less likely too. But I don't look for any thanks or recognition when I give money away.
My wife's Thai ID under Date of Expiry says LIFELONG.
Thai driver licenses used to be lifelong too. I have some Thai friends that have them. I think they stopped doing that about 15-20 years ago.
So was the deposit from her employer or not?
Why would criminals deposit money in a strangers account? Easy to deposit but harder to get it back out without help from someone working for the bank.
I have found a few Thai freinds I would and have trusted with my dogs.
