perhaps this might change as Thailand is a newly minted BRIC “ partner” and even in the future , full BRIC member. -

For those who bought the sea lion 7 . I am trying to understand if ITAC is an option to have as it seems in the brochure that it is only on the performance model . As we know models varies per region and rever may be incorrect in their pdf brochure as its website states that itac is available in both versions. I just want to know if itac is a must ti have -

Yes, I was also looking at Geely too. good comparable to bad Otto 3 extended ( my 2nd choice after Sealion 7 premium) . My personal issues were that there was no Geely dealer in chiang mai and if I order a car, it will be registered and delivered from BKK. So I have to wait for them to setup shop in CNX. -

I test drive Sealion 7 today. I like the car look a lot but need to decide whether to go with the premium or performance. I wanted to test the premium version but Dealer only had performance model . I felt the power for sure but thought the steering ride was delayed and loose, understandable as this is a large car with lots of HP. However I wonder if the premium has better control , less body roll since it is lighter and has less torque power. Dealer told me that they might have a premium to test drive next month but of course I will miss out on the dec 10 promo deadline. Anyone tested the premium and give me your thoughts . Thanks for your inputs. -
BYD Seal tips, tricks and help
Alotoftravel replied to macahoom's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
Seems like the difference between the premium and performance model of the seal,or Sealion 7 is only 100k . Sure looks attractive and tempting to move up to the performance for the speed and awd even though you do not need it . -

good to know that. I was afraid that they might close ira accounts which would mean large taxes incur if they cannot accept a Thai address . Thanks -

if you cannot have USA financial account (eg brokerage) in Thailand since you have a foreign address, how do you take care of your ira brokerage accounts if you have to close them. Big headache with taxes and cash position ? Any thoughts with this ? -

I agree since mg battery is lifetime warranty. Yeah ev pricing is challenging. Would phev ( BYD sealion 7) also experience the same pricing decline in the future? Does phev even make sense with regards to fuel effiency , heavier car and also still running gasoline? -

With a lifetime warranty , does it NOT matter now having an NMC battery car and charge to 100% daily and not worry on longevity ( lFp battery had the advantage of charging 100 versus NMC to only 80 % to prolong longevity of battery wear.
