    I was able to see the address update page. This was not available t us with Thai address . Good to know we can update when we could not before . I noticed that there was check out box to indicate that my mailing address is the residence address . To avoid 7162 , do we check it ?

    Thanks for the caution , I was not planning NOT to sign up Medicare advantage anyway as I was advised of no coverage abroad . I was merely trying to avoid this annual 7162which I am still waiting in Chiang Mai. I wonder if I call my local Thai post office if they can assist .

    Are there any other disadvantages or advantages besides not receiving annual 7162 if I am able to change Thai address to my USA address in my social security account . I am keeping my irs tax account to remain in Thailand if it matters .

    I have not received mine in chiang mai yet for 2024. Last year 2023 , I received it Jul 23rd..keeping a look out.

    interesting to find out the thai made specs of models currently sold , differences if any and Sale prices since it is made locally. the dolphin new prices is certainly tempting even without the previous free maintenance ( 26.5k baht )

    Not sure the which items in the rever package goes with this dolphin discount , I do not see the free maintenance for 8 years . I wish they stop adding and deleting to their rever package but at least we have free tint around the car I think ( xu max ) this round included

    At my brokerage company, they offer savings account and brokerage account. I have money market funds ( Sweep )in brokerage account. Do I need to convert it in cash in brokerage account And does it need to be in the savings account?

    the USA has no requirement of the 180 days stay unlike Thailand . For Americans , You get taxed wherever you reside.

    My epson printer scanner does not allow you to scan if you run out of ink . I was thinking of using for scanning but now lay on wayside .

    I got mine yesterday in chiang mai for about 500 baht . my thai friend who owned land/house (value less than 5 mil bah) said no tax for them. Is property tax for expats with condo only?

    Does anyone know how condo owner’s unit are accessed our annual property tax . I guess it is per sqm but is it the same for all ( Thai Or foreigners) and is specific to the local district tax. Appreciate

    Hi, Any recommended places to repair ipad out of warranty in Chiang mai . I am aware of the ICARE in Central Airport/Maya plus the Studio 7 in Central Festival and Maya. I called Apple directly. Apple Support advised to go an authorized dealer. Apparently, authorized dealer can repair free if it is not a hardware problem and also they can give you a estimate price to fix it. There is no cost to estimate to repair. Any thoughts much appreciated/.

    To add to Pib's note, Tesla do not have distributors too. Luckily for Tesla, I understand from Youtuber Electric Viking that in China currently, about 20% of the distributors are making money. China is going through a rough time in the automobile sector.
