Has my sex tourist friend found a loop hole?
FruitPudding replied to AustinRacing's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Yeah, gonorrhea is the most likely STD from oral. But why would you be scared of that? How is it different from a normal throat infection? I just had strep throat earlier this year. Who cares? Genital herpes from oral sex is rare. You'd be more likely to get oral herpes ( the common cold sore) from a person's mouth. By your logic, you should rethink ever kissing someone again, lol. And you forgot syphilis, by the way, which can be spread by oral, although much less than vaginal or anal sex. And of all the STDs it's one of the rarest, especially in heterosexuals. But frankly, malaria or dengue fever Is scarier and you get that by simply by being outside (or even staying at home) with mosquitos. Perspective rather than irrational fear. -
I remember that one from back in the day. Is it still going strong?

But I was more meaning Washington Square-esque

Yeah, they don't name bars (or massage parlors) like they used to.

Are there any bars that still have the old-school vibe?

Oh Beloved Bangkok, How So You Have Changed...
FruitPudding replied to HugoFastor's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Bangkok is dirtier, less friendly, and less fun. The Thais are not the same and most of the charm and character is gone. They are much harder and clearly feeling the effects of the economy, like hungry ghosts. Way more women are getting into prostitution because they can now do it discreetly online. Mall, after mall, after mall, after mall. Do people really like malls that much? Transport is better and there is more international food now though. English is better. -
Aye, but over a small thing. See how they would react if the rape cases were up 500% since mass migration, like Sweden. You've not been here long enough to remember the looting, arson, shooting, grenade throwing when the red shirts lost the election. People get lynched here for having car accidents sometimes.

How would Thais would react if Thailand had open borders and immigration policies, like the UK. And if farang were arriving illegally and were killing kids and commiting terrorist attacks. They went nuts for that farang who kicked the Thai on the back for sitting on the steps at the beach. They tried to lynch the Filipino ladyboys who beat up a Thai ladyboy on Soi 11. Just imagine how they'd react if it were more serious! Imagine if what was happening in the UK and EU was happening in Thailand!

How long have you lived in Thailand? It's the ones who know too much that do all the complaining. Everyone loves Thailand at first. Try being more than just a tourist here. I do everything on my own here. And I will happily have a dick measuring contest with you. What have you achieved here? I have enough Thai to get by in every situation I find myself in. I am probably intermediate level for speaking and listening. Can read and write some too. Aye, well I bet they weren't on a 1 year non-immigrant visa and still being referred to as an alien or a foreigner......after being in the country for decades. I think a lot of us just want to be able to cross the road at a pedestrian crossing without being in mortal danger. The Thais can read the signs but just choose to ignore them. Lol. At petrol stations they drive in the exit and out the entrance. I see it all the time. They ignore speed limits and go up the wrong side of the road, on the pavement even. And don't get me started on stop signs and pedestrian crossings. It's not the farang that make Thailand's roads some of the most dangerous in the world. 😄 🤣 😂

I am not getting what the "loophole" is, but this is a sensible approach, and exactly how I'd roll, except on foot, not bike. To hell with ladydrinks and barfines. Often a better approach is the BJ bars as you are guaranteed fun for a reasonable price. Throwing away 300-500 on oil massages if you pick the wrong one is a waste of time and money. -

That's for teenagers too, especially ones who can only dance with their hands, and who think techno music is real music.

Weed is for teenagers and Jamaicans. - I haven't had a hangover in a long time. - I haven't vomited from alcohol in decades. - I don't get into fights, nor drink n drive. - I don't spend a lot on it either. Smoking is worse for health than alcohol. Edibles are gay and childish. I smoked weed as a teen and it's definitely possible to feel sick if you take too much. It also causes you to eat a lot (the munchies) which is unhealthy. Also, I like to drink cos I like to get out the house for a few hours and do some people-watching. Weed is very anti-social. I can't imagine being outside and being stoned. What am I gonna do, get stoned and sit at home playing video games? I like how alcohol tastes too. It's refreshing on a hot day. It pairs well with food.

What do you use for contraception?

Jesus. What were you thinking? -
Firstly, what were two 14 year old girls doing out at that time?? Maybe making some income for their parents 🤔 Secondly, taxis are easy to get in Thailand and always have been affordable. Easier than ever now with apps, such as Grab and Bolt. Thirdly, risking your life - or your child's life - for convenience is not worth it. Those poor girls should never have been in that situation.

You said it. Their kids are their retirement plan. How about saving and investing for their own retirement? How about working for a company that allows you to pay into the social security system so that you recieve a pension? As well as better healthcare. These are also options. But they don't prioritize these things. They prioritize life insurance above all other kinds of insurance. When I lived in the village, they would laugh at me for buying health insurance for myself and my family. They all bought life insurance and they took policies out on their relatives even without their knowledge. Sick and bizarre.
