  1. Thanks for the info! Just double checking nothing has changed recently with this, so it's still 60 days on arrival at the airport (rather than the previous 30 days stamp). Is that correct?
  2. All the way to Thailand.
  3. Yeah, I had a good childhood. I did go off the rails a bit, but we all did then.
  4. Just coffee, as usual.
  5. Unless you are an African gigolo. Then, it's "action stations"
  6. I never paid my (ex) wife anything; to hell with that, lol! However, I am a bachelor these days, so I do have a very sanook gik/maid who happens to live nearby and comes over to stay the night once a week and then she does a couple of hours of cleaning, tidying, and ironing the next morning. As Neil Young said, "A Man Needs a Maid" And in Thailand it's cost effective; you've got to take advantage of it. And she's happy - cos it's a part time job for her - when her falang boyfriend isn't here.
  7. The barstool is the best part of Thailand. Sad, but true.
  8. You have to remember, there's no sense of shame here.
  9. Agree with all your points, except the dual pricing of foreigners in Thailand. There's actually no logical connection in your line of reasoning; it's the fallacy of non-sequitur.
  10. Can't tell if this is satire or not.
  11. Let them fight for Britain if they want citizenship.
  12. Islamic extremists in the West, who would have thought, eh?
  13. Well, why did she let it happen? Didn't she try to protect her child? What's wrong with living in Isaan? Pointing out that Isaan people are not in such financial difficulty that they need to pimp out their daughters.
  14. You don't blame her for letting a 27 year old shag her 13-14 year old? He probably helped financially and the poor girl's mother is so corruptable she went along with it. . I lived in Isaan. Most people own their own home and have farmland worth 1 million baht. They have a higher net worth than a lot of farang. There's no excuse.
  15. Amazing Thailand, as they say. These stories are all too common here, such an insidious way of life. It's just the tip of the iceberg. There's no question she'll end up in Pattaya selling her 🦪 and probably her 🍩 to finance her lazy good-for-nothing mother.
  16. I agree. After living in Thailand most of my adult life, it does get boring. That said, things in the West are pretty dire (where I come from) and I am glad I raised my kid here.
  17. This is a pretty warped post. How's the West working out for you?
  18. Why do we never call Muslims congregating a "Islam supremacy" meeting, especially when they want Sharia in the West?
  19. Perhaps try educating Thais about letting their kids operate motorbikes.
  20. You would still need a work permit to work legally on a family visa.
  21. Well, it ain't 1920 anymore: women are allowed to work; they ain't just housewives. They aren't dependent children. They are empowered and liberated. They have equality. Men should earn their own money too, right? I think what I am saying is the opposite of misogyny. That said, most Thai women want to be taken care of by a man and your money is her money (but her money is not your money, lol). My EX put it very eloquently, "My money is my money. Your money is my money. Haha."
  22. I agree. I cant tell if we are agreeing or disagreeing How is that misogyny anyway?
