  1. He probably had a deal done not to be arrested, but with the uncertainty and the mess that is going on at the moment things have fallen trough and he need to wait for a better opportunity.
  2. I don't understand why those high ranking police can't find the answers to deal with a bunch of Arab hooligans, if i were the chief of police those 'tourists' would have been heavily fined and deported long time ago with 10 years ban on entering the kingdom.

  4. The article above has nothing to do with retirees, those Chinese are known to operate many business under the radar and looking like locals, many get away with it until someone drop a dime on them.

  17. They should have a designated trading spots along the beach and make the vendors pay for each spot and make sure to keep the place clean when the leave.

  21. It's called Makro, Most of Big C meat prices ( and some others) are 'you're dreaming mate' prices, so yeah Makro is the place to go and do big shopping.

Real estate business is on the down low at the moment and is true to pretty much the whole of Thailand other than Phuket perhaps where the Russians buyers keeping the market buzzing, I too, am trying to sell a condo in the center of BKk, listed with 4-5 agents and no customers at all, only tire kickers looking for bargains, I will be interested to know where to to list properties in overseas RE sites.

  24. Would have been doing much more to his credentials as a true benevolent caring person without the photo opp, but him being a politician using any opportunity for a spot in the lime lights, the shine of a good deeds are somewhat dimmed.
  25. IMO, the man is no stupid, he wouldn't come back had he known that he'd be in trouble, having said that, it will for sure, lead to an interesting times in Thai politics.
