Sex, golf, cost of living and far away from the terrible western female attitude. I have been fortunate to travel to many places, this place by far is the best. I only hope it lasts for awhile.

So, you want to sleep in a hut near the railroad tracks? Just joking of course, but I have lived in Bangkok before most of the locals are trying or are in fact living western lifestyles. Maybe they eat Thai food, but have or want nice condos, cars, higher end western living, etc. You can try it all on 30 k a month. But, I bet you find yourself pinching and counting your baht everyday. Not much fun, I think 80-100 k a month is about right for a nice standard of living in Bangkok.

I bought an air filter online it seems to make a big difference feeling better when in my room.

I personally know of several of these in Pattaya. Guys meet the girl online, get lots of attention promise marriage and buy a condo before they have even met. It happens more then people think and I bet most feel so stupid and embarrassed you never hear about it.

Probably just me, but I have had the same general impression. I sometimes think that some here do not value human life. Seem unemotional about death. Another thing, I got a car a few months back and some of the driving here is so unbelievably dangerous and reckless. Add, I have witnessed crashes the drivers get out and immediately check the damage to their car, having no concern for the health of the other drivers.

Do they have them with a voice? Maybe say: ¨Falang good man¨ or You like me you happy? Then, I would consider it.

I think Naklua is actually better then any of the places mentioned. And, only a few minutes to Central mall, Terminal 21, many restuarant choices, etc. Unfortunately, Jomtien has not much going on. Want to go to the movies, a food court, a mall, western type fast food or have more choices of restaurants, got to go over the hill. I bet 90% of the people at that over priced Central food court are from Jomtien. I was just in Hua Hin. it is nice, but rentals near the beach with views seem 3 times that of Pattaya. Plus, that one road coming and out can be a traffic nightmare. If one does not care about sex and booze it might be OK just more expensive.

The agents I know say things are busy. Especially in Phuket and Pattaya. Sales and rentals way up. This place has not been back open for very long. China just opened. As opposed to others, I see a real estate boom coming over the next few years and location is key

After 3 years of purgatory international conflicts will not affect their travel plans. They just finished their New Year. I certainly am seeing many more maybe they just don't want to be controlled by tour logistics.

My recent experience in the Philippines proves to me how much better the quality of life is in Thailand. Philippines seems to have done nothing to improve things all I saw was deterioration everywhere. Will never go back I thought it was terrible.

The 9:30 pm time is understandable and good planning by the cops. A prime time for customers and full staff to be present. If they went later, good chance some girls either went home or went out with customers.

Flagging them down is a good idea. But, find one who will use the meter otherwise, they seem to be asking 500 b.

Down playing these estimates seems foolish. Are some actually here in these tourist areas or airports seeing the hordes of people now? Get in touch with reality and just wait, overrun will probably be an understatement in the months to come. Of course, many posted over the past few years: Thailand is finished forever! How are those words tasting now as the whole world it seems wants to come here.

A bunch have moved into my condo building. Guys and girls loud taking over the gym and pool. They say the word" bubushka" a lot in researching the meaning I am not sure why.
