I've got a great idea...tie the hospital's farang delinquent payers to immigration...make them clear hospital bills before issuing new Visas or being allowed to leave the country...me and Big J will then extort money from most everyone on the pretext they owe the hospital and the hospital will have a blank check to over charge farangs even if they have never been to the hospital...My business will handle the complaint department and get a reduction on the bogus bill for you for a few thousand.
Win-win for everyone!
This could be a serious business opportunity which could be run in partnership with police officers ????

A freedom of information disclosure to a Bangkok resident states that the sale of the British embassy in Wireless Road netted 426 million pounds.
I hope the money is in the Bank of England. I say this because in the 1970s we had a wonderful Consulate in Chiang Mai on the banks of the Ping River. It had its own landing stage, stabling for the necessary elephants and extensive manicured lawns upon which to hold cocktail parties for the good and the great, and a statue of good Queen Victoria. At some time (I am not sure when exactly) it was sold. The buyer paid part of the sales price and gained possession. According to sources close to this story, the remainder of the money was never paid, and the Embassy did not pursue the matter ...................... embarrassment ? too busy at cocktail parties ? .......

Keep it closed for another few years. THEN limit the number of boats in total that come enter the Bay in a day. However, TIT I am sure that the tea money in the red envelope will make sure that will never happen and within a few years this gorgeous place will be ruined once again. When will they ever learn?? My guess??? NEVER.
Sent from my CMR-AL19 using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
Keep it closed for boats for ever. I believe it is accessible by foot .......

would also be good to introduce laws making owners responsible for their dogs ...........
Thais are never responsible for their actions. Whatever happens is the result of a good / bad deed in a previous life.

The reason is money. If you engage a lower gear, you will use more petrol (or gas) .........,,,simple !

Boy, Sandy is a lucky girl to have a beau willing to do something as trashy as graffiti on a wall to show his love.
The name is written as 'Sondy' NOT 'Sandy'
The writer gets all the 'a's correct with a little tail.
So it is either a Geman who likes Sundays or a Thai with a g/f called Sondy !

Bearing in mind the Royal Family stayed at Buckingham Palace during the Blitz I doubt a bunch of remoaning lentil eating sandal wearers are of much concern.
They stayed at Windsor Palace at night during the Blitz; but came into bombed-out East End during the day for photo ops.

Could we evacuate Her Maj and the rest of the Royal family (apart from Megan) to Europe permanently ? Buck House could be used to shelter the homeless of London

If we crash out at least we will have taken back control of our laws and borders for the Tory's and the rich our tax havens can be restored and we can concentrate on zero hours contracts and food bank expansion whilst waiting to die on our own NHS trolleys in A&E. Shares in Brighthouse will rise sharply our $ will be safe as pounds used to be .We can now call Dover the number one UK tourist hub for Brits wanting to look longingly at free Europe from the bastion of the white cliffs ????
Iyt will not be 'our own NHS' very soon. Mrs May is beefing it up ready to be sold to American companies ASAP

I don't believe transportation adds significantly to the problem, the problem is thousands of acres of forest and stubble being burnt all over SEA.
If that is the case, why is the smog over the big cities and not over the rural areas ?

I find ....... ! there is a complete lack of Common-sense in Thailand many say Thais are retarded ? but I really think in My Opinion that Common-sense as a course should be taught at infant Schools and continue right through the Education System and the kids may be able to help their Educated and Un-educated parents and Grandparents It is very Sad to see and witness on a daily basis ????
They need a course in basic logic, as do most people in the UK (they still want to vote for May !!). The French were very hot on logic and philosophy in their schools- but they carried it to extremes as we saw in 1968.

The "Allies" never were in Auschwitz ! The red army "liberated" Auschwitz. That's historical fact !!!
The bulldozing of bodies into pits was by the British army at Bergen Belsen. This was the first camp liberated by the western allies at the invitation of the Germans in order to stop the spread of typhoid.

"Prime Minister General Prayut Chan-o-cha ...... called on owners of diesel-run vehicles to only use their cars in Greater Bangkok when it is absolutely necessary."
Does the PM not realise that it is absolutely necessary for a Thai person to use their car (if they own one) as often as possible, even if it runs on diesel ? Surely he cannot expect these people to use public transport and travel the the great un-washed !!

The owner of the store shared the footage on Facebook asking for help in identifying the thief.
Some people might mistakenly think it is I !! But my belly is not quite as big yet.
Luckily I have an alibi - I have been in the UK for a few months and not due back for a few more months (enjoying the cold weather ????

Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha warned this morning that he might be forced to introduce the odd-even number rule for motorists in Bangkok
When I lived in Nigeria, many moons ago, they had a problem with massive taffic jams, so they introduced the odd-even rule. It was not long before most of the population with cars (ie rich) suddenly had 2 cars ! Great for motor companies ????
